Great for Museums. Has a nice - quality - vibe.
This was a stay where - due to an evening engagement - I spent little time in the hotel apart from sleeping. That said, I really liked the place. Lovely lady on reception, impressive public rooms, good breakfast buffet. The hotel is a well-designed maze of corridors - very narrow and with moody lighting on the ground floor. My room was compact but with a big bed. The room window actually faced into one of the public rooms rather than outside. It’s a 7 minute walk to South Ken tube. Lots of hotels and one decent pub (Zetland Arms) in the immediate vicinity. Handy for museums. It would have been good to have spent more time there - but I’ll look out for it next time I’m booking a London hotel.

Fabulous Hotel in a Smart Part if London
Fabulous hotel in a lovely part of South Kensington which is near the Royal Albert Hall and South Kensington Tube Station. Beautiful interior, very comfortable bed and lovely Moulton Brown complimentary toiletries together with slippers with Coffee and Tea making facilities. Excellent friendly efficient staff. My husband and I will definitely be returning and hopefully soon next year 🫶

Beautiful Hotel but no place to store your clothes.
Beautiful Hotel, great Location …..BUT there is litterly no place to store your clothes. No drawers, only a very small closet that was 6 inches deep that you hang your clothes flat facing you. You couldn’t even open your suitcases and just work out them because there was no room to lay them out except on the bed, (not even on the floor). We were staying for 11 nights. We had to up grade to a suite and even then the storage was not great. They have room in our orginal room to give you a dresser . The two story suite ( which was double the price) still had no drawer space and very limited hanging space but there was so much wasted space . So whom ever designed these rooms didn’t look at being functional. We talked to several other hotel guest at breakfast and they all said the same thing. One guy said, he just opened his suitcase on the other side of the bed and left it there because he got tried of having to open and close it every time he needed something.
