A wonderful island atmosphere. Staff are extremely nice and helpful. So much better than these huge resorts. The pool was like my own private pool, calming and welcoming. Easily reached from the airport. I will be back.

Awesome place to stay and recharge in Nassau!
Where do I begin? Our flights were canceled and we needed to find accommodations near the airport. We found this hotel and ended up staying 2 nites. Marcia the manager was so kind friendly and professional. The hotel is quite nice. Rooms are spacious with a cute pool and deck area that compliment the quaint boutique feeling you get here. Breakfast and good strong coffee are included in your stay. The view of the ocean is inspiring with palm trees on the deck. The house restaurant, Cafe Bombay, is awesome. The chef serves a full menu of Indian food which we found excellent. There is a nicely stocked bar if you decide on a cocktail, beer or wine. If you are seeking time to recollect and refresh before heading back to the to the race back home, we highly suggest A Stone's Throw Away in Nassau Bahamas. A Stone's Throw Away Nassau Memorable. Worth some imperfections. 1068923075 My husband and I spent two separate nights within the month of June 2026 at A Stone's Throw Away. The Caribbean ambience of the rooms (and of the hotel) was striking in a positive way. The beds were extra comfortable with light Indian?, sheet- covered quilts (I forget what they are called) and comfortable, pressed (?) clean sheets. Our first room had a high view of the ocean and our second room a garden view; both terraces and their garden, street, and ocean views were a treat and both caught the island breezes. During each of the two separate nights there was occasional noise of suitcases being rolled in or out above us. Cafe Bombay was a great addition, and the two simple dishes we had during our second stay were delicious, but pricey. The Cafe management should check the metal chairs on the main terrace, as the one I was sitting in during our second visit broke due to rust and could have caused injury. Both breakfast, which did supply yogurt, and dinner were on that main terrace, which was big plus. The pool too was a plus: little rom for adults to swim, but a pleasant way to relax and cool off in the garden. The tunnel, which rises up to the hotel and which, according to our taxi driver, was dug by slaves years ago, added to the Bahamian ambience. That ambience was unpretentious, as was the service, and the rooms' decor simple but tasteful. All was very clean.

Great stay!
wonderful place to stay. The staff were genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout my visit, providing excellent service from check-in to departure. The property has a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great place to unwind while still being conveniently located. One small thing to be aware of is that some of the outdoor steps can become quite slippery, especially if they’ve gotten wet, so it’s worth taking a little extra care when walking around. Other than that, my experience was excellent. The accommodations were comfortable, the grounds were well maintained, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Nassau.

Awesome experience
Me and my husband visited the restaurant for our date night, it was our first time trying Indian food but I must say we definitely enjoyed every dish we had. What made the experience so much better was our server shanique, she was she pleasant. The dishes she recommended was absolutely delicious. The bartender precious kept the drinks flowing, they were so good. To end our night the chef Prem came and introduced himself and brought our dessert. Who would have thought a dish made with carrots other than carrot cake would have been sooo delicious. I would definitely recommend having date night here. We loved our experience.
