  Poor not terrible, avoid all inclusive option. Older hotel not 4* is a 2* in my view. Customer service at reception poor. Around

  One night stay 01 Dec 2025. I was put in this hotel by Destination2 after booking coconut beach resort on All Inclusive basis and they said they do not do it so I got a pre departure change. Bearing in mind one night, ocean view room with 15 min transfer from Harbour to hotel then to Airport after our stay cost £323 you'd expect it to be at least good. However the hotel itself is poor. Old style rooms, not cleanest e.g. hairs on floors, plugs and old cracked dirty floor tiles. Old rickety patio doors and ocean view cant be seen easily due to roof and trees. Now for the All Inc bit. The hotel is not All inclusive it offers a eve meal the day you check in, breakfast next day if like me you are 1 night you are to be out by 12 so that's your lot! No snacks, not All Inc activities, not even informed or offered all inc information sheet what's included what's not. Had to pay an extra £45 to check in early, this does not allow you to access all inclusive e.g. lunch early its just access the room u end up arguing at reception to a blank its our policy response and your agent should have told you. Then add on your tourist tax £10 and another $50 deposit and I am now £388 plus $50 deposit down for a shocking 2* at most hotel stay. Honestly I feel so ripped off!!! I would have walked out but its last day and night of holiday so did not want to spend my time trying to find new hotel. Plus side Bathroom seems newish Drinks at bar seem wide range Location is excellent I hate leaving poor reviews but honestly my experience here has been dismal. I dont see the terrible reviews some have left on here mine is not terrible its poor though and ripped off by someone. Very sad as its the end of a wonderful holiday but I'd not return to Barbados because of my experience here! I hope this helps someone in planning.

  Great location and lovely staff

  We have been staying here for the last few years having tried several other hotels. There are some negative reviews but we love it here and you have to remember it is the Caribbean. We love the location (much prefer it to the west coast) and the hotel staff are wonderful. There are some reviews that mention updating and ok probably valid but for us it just adds to the charm and we will be back

  Worst ever

  I do not write reviews. But this was the worst room we ever had! Not clean, no towels, lightbulb left on the bathroom counter, continuous running toilet, TV, but with no remote control, so no way to watch anything.Apparently they were sold out and could not move us to another room.But no apology given. Worst ever. Not a great way to start vacation.

  Reception and taxis.

  Reception staff were unbelievably helpful thank you all. A great hotel and one to recommend for all travellers seeking a decent billet.

  A very poor experience!!

  The hotel is need a of a serious update. The room is failing apart and nothing works. Please do not stay here if you are used to staying in a modern, comfortable hotel with good customer service. Cons 1. Ceiling fan does not work 2. Air conditioning hit and miss 3. Door lock not working 4. Mosquitos in the rooms 5. Customer service poor some staff do not seem very happy 6. Carpets in corridors need to be replaced 7. Ice machines do not work anywhere 8. Shower low pressure 9. There are not many socket outlets in the room. 10. Gym is small with 1 treadmill machine that doesn’t work 11. Pool is dirty you never see anybody testing or cleaning it. Pros 1. Beach 2. location 3. The general manager when he is around does his best to help. I would not stay at this hotel again, do not throw your hard earned money away.
