The check in staff was fine. The best thing about this hotel is the proximity to the airport and the free shuttle. The restaurant seems to have good food but is restrictive in only allowing to dine in with breakfast buffet at $31+. Too expensive. Should be able to order alacarte in the restaurant. Overall the hotel is outdated, and the pillows are too flat, but it was clean and staff was service oriented and pleasant.

Very accommodating staff. Great amenities. Very comfortable rooms. Huge facility. We stayed before and after our cruise before our flight home.

Very convenient
We were allowed to check in early and head out and about right away. We attempted the shuttle back to the airport, but they were very backed up, so just go an Uber.

As an airport hotel we had low expectations and were pleasantly surprised however, there were some minor issues. Arrived late and called the hotel and bus arrived in good time and pick-up instructions were very concise and clear. Note they are currently using the Best Western bus which has ‘BW’ on the side. From the hotel, Shuttle only runs on the hour and in a couple of our experiences actually left early so best to be there in plenty of time. Room was a good size and the bed is a true King which was refreshing after a couple of other supposed ‘extra large’ beds. Air-con is in the room however and sounds like a plane landing when running. Paid for breakfast and fully expected the buffet but instead handed a limited menu which was a surprise but have to say the portions are sizeable - especially the pancakes which are huge!! Staff are the best thing about this property - from check-in to concierge and even the bus drivers! F&B is a hoot and I think a 3rd party operation. Nice clean pool but the highway overlooks so it’s not exactly peaceful! Place is tired but all in all not too bad for Honolulu if you need to be close to the airport.

Convenient to the airport
Conveniently located near the airport. My room was comfortable and quiet. The bed was a little too soft. We ordered tacos from the restaurant and they were delicious. It met our need for a hotel near the airport. We were surprised when we checked in that there was a $25 “amenity fee” that had not been disclosed when we reserved the room. The shuttle to the airport was included in the amenity fee. My traveling companion and I had separate rooms so between us we essentially paid $50 for airport transportation that could have been done for far less with a ride share. When we asked if we could decline the fee, we were told that it was mandatory…even though we wouldn’t be using any of the amenities other than the shuttle. The fee should have been included in the advertised price. The shuttle was timely and the driver was very helpful.
