  Great stay!!!!

  20th wedding anniversary trip started off rocky due to erroneous travelocity cancellation, although we were told we were all set. Had to rebook at higher cost ; once we got to the resort, we told them about it, they quickly upgraded our stay. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Markenley took care of everything! He’s a great asset to the resort! Food, drinks, and overall experience 10 outta 10!!!!

  If you’re doing Turks and Caicos; choose Alexandra

  My wife and I booked our Honeymoon escape with Alexandra. Having never been to an All-Inclusive resort we were unsure what to expect. The entire staff made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. From spending time on the beautiful beach, lounging in the pool, and enjoying sunset dinners on the Black Rock deck, it was an overall wonderful experience. We spent most of our beach time snorkeling, exploring the local reef, and soaking up the sun. The games set up by the staff were thoroughly enjoyable and we loved to participate in each one. The evening events after dinner, whether that was Karaoke, a Mardi Gras party, etc were the perfect nightcap to every day. The restaurant staff were all very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. Special shout out to Tash, Kimron and Cheeky from the entertainment team. Tash was very courteous and ensured that not only us, but everyone she came across felt included. Kimron and Cheeky were great hosts for the events and kept us laughing and enjoying ourselves throughout each event. We hope we get the opportunity to come back.

  Underwhelming honeymoon experience — would not return

  My husband and I stayed at Alexandra Resort in Turks and Caicos from May 24–31, 2026 for our honeymoon. We chose this resort expecting a relaxing, welcoming, and memorable all-inclusive experience. Unfortunately, our week was filled with frustration and disappointment, and we ultimately left feeling that the experience did not come close to justifying what we paid. The biggest issue throughout our stay was the service and overall attitude of the staff. We repeatedly encountered employees who seemed uninterested in helping or interacting with guests. At the beach bar for example, bartenders generally wouldn’t approach us or ask what we wanted. They would simply look at us until we initiated the interaction. There was very little conversation, friendliness, or effort to make us feel welcomed. The resort also has only one main bar, which typically had only one or two bartenders working, and only two televisions. This became particularly noticeable at night because there really isn’t much to do at the resort after dinner. Most evenings, the main options seemed to be sitting at that one bar or finding something else to occupy your time. For a honeymoon resort, we expected more evening entertainment or activities to enjoy. I also want to include that it is not an adult-only resort. My husband and I didn’t mind this during the day, as we spent that time down at the beach and most families reside by the pool. But again, after dinner, there are no adult activities besides sitting at the bar. Breakfast was another frustrating experience. We often had to seat ourselves and weren’t properly waited on. Even being served food from the buffet sometimes felt like an inconvenience to the staff. We also booked a newly renovated room and unfortunately, our room did not appear that way.There were cracks in the shower and ceiling tile, scuffs on the dressers, and old-looking furniture. On our first day, my husband even had to kill a spider in the room. We weren’t expecting perfection, but we did expect the room we booked to reasonably reflect the description of a newly renovated accommodation. There was no room service, which was disappointing for a resort at this price point and especially for a honeymoon. We booked a private dinner, which was supposed to be one of the special experiences of our honeymoon. However, it was set up openly on the beach where other guests could see us. It did not feel private or intimate at all. Our waiter for the private dinner deserves special recognition because he was genuinely wonderful and did a fantastic job. Unfortunately, he was clearly overworked, serving restaurant tables as well as other private dinners. When we were ready to leave, it was dark and cold on the beach, and we had to wait a long time for him to return so we could properly thank and tip him. Our issue was not with him — it was with the way the experience was staffed and managed. We also found having to make dinner reservations every night unnecessary and annoying. The restaurants were not packed, yet we still had to plan our evenings around reservations. One of the things we look forward to with an all-inclusive vacation is being able to relax and not worry about planning every meal. We decided to get massages during our stay. The masseuses were very nice, courteous, and pleasant, so we have nothing negative to say about them personally. Unfortunately, we felt the massages themselves were extremely underwhelming for the price. It felt more like an expensive rub than a professional massage, and we did not feel the experience was worth what we paid. We did not complain to management while we were there because we were on our honeymoon and didn’t want to spend our vacation tracking down managers or making complaints. We tried to make the best of the situation and enjoy our time together. Unfortunately, the issues were consistent enough that they ultimately affected the entire experience. That’s the part that hurts the most. We went to Turks and Caicos to celebrate our marriage and relax, and instead we felt like we were constantly dealing with frustration and poor service. We spent approximately $8,000 on our overall honeymoon, including the resort, flights, and excursions. We understand that not every aspect of a vacation will be perfect, but for the amount of money we spent, we expected significantly better. Our honeymoon should be a trip we look back on with nothing but happy memories. Although we do have happy memories of being together on vacation, we do look back on it with regret over the money we spent and the experience we received. Based on our experience, we would not return to Alexandra Resort or Turks and Caicos for that matter. We would not recommend it to someone looking for a relaxing honeymoon or high-quality all-inclusive experience. I’m sharing this review because I wish we had seen more reviews describing these issues before booking. If you’re considering Alexandra for your honeymoon, I would strongly encourage you to do your research, set your expectations accordingly and most importantly, use your honeymoon budget elsewhere.

  Alexandra and Turks & Caicos owes us NOTHING!

  Alexandra resort has a really special team, at an amazing resort, provided me with an amazing experience. It started with meeting KJ, Mark, and Mustafa at the front desk. The check-in was smooth, Mark helped identifying options for us, then KJ and Mustafa helped get us to our room. They provided us with a room tour, shared some highlights to consider and answered every question we had. Then we met Derricka who helped us booked our amazing snorkeling experience. We identified what we were looking for in our experience, she was patient with us as we consider timing, and successfully got us booked. For food reservations we worked with Andrianna, who was informative. We shared what we were interesting in trying, her knowledge of offerings really impressed us and she was spot on. There were two really special women, Judith and Daniella (spelling) we believe she was a supervisor, who really cemented our experience. It was really nice speaking to them, their kindness, easy to connect with, and on our last day they gathered the team to sing happy birthday to my sister, bringing us special desserts touched us!!! Entertainment was outstanding as well and Mr. Tishane, fire show - one word - EXCEPTIONAL. Tishane is the total package and he too was really kind and gracious. The beach lived up to its reputation 10/10, we enjoyed the few times we went to Blue Haven, Iquasha was really nice and we chatted about the country and opportunities. We were happy to stay at Alexandra though, it felt more like home.
