    Disappointing

    We booked the Allegro Playacar for our 25th wedding anniversary. The 3 restraurants were a big part of the choice, however only 1 was ever open and always fully booked unless you queued at 8.45 for the booking desk which opened at 9.30. Big group bookings added to the lack of availabilty. Food is repetitive in the main restaurant. We had no hot water on 3 separate days, room keys wouldn't work on 2 other days. The grounds and wildlife are beautiful, always felt safe, otherwise a mediocre hotel and expensive for what it is. We wouldnt recommend this hotel.

    Fabulous, can't wait to go back.

    This was the first time we we had been to Playa de Carmen. This was an amazing hotel - excellent value for money. the layout of the grounds and buildings added to the relaxing atmosphere. The food was great, and plentiful. We loved being right on the beach. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the AC was really quiet. The pools are of a good size, and well maintained. Wonderful friendly and helpful staff. We would highly recommend.
