    Great choice for a budget stay

    This is an interesting property in the same complex as the more expensive Sheraton. Space is on brand with the Aloft brand with trendy ambiance, including (first time in my life I have seen it) a billiard pool table in the lobby. Plenty of public spaces, all ample and with purpose. The rooms, although basic, are much better than other Aloft properties I have stayed in. They almost look brand new. They have a lot of details you may find in the other hotels of the brand. Bathroom is also ample and with a great shower. Hot water is hot! Bed and pillows are very comfortable and the A/C really works. The included breakfast is basic but more than enough to start the day. The only downside is the location. Not in a great area, not because it is unsafe or anything like that, but because it is in a residential area that doesn’t have many options for restaurants or other city amenities.

    Very nice Hotel!

    Flying back from Lima, Peru to Las Vegas, Nv with Copa Airlines there was a mechanical issue with a cargo door on the aircraft. We were late in departing by 2.5 hours so all onboard missed their connections to other places. We were transported to downtown Panama City via a bus and spent the night in this hotel. Copa Airlines paid for our lodgings and dinner. Very early the next morning we were all taken back to the airport to get our connections. For the 5 hours l was there my room was very nice and a nice very late dinner. But, thanks to Copa Air we all were well taken care of.

    Friendly staff, clean and welcoming space. Great amenities. Enjoyed the pool, bar, and pub downstairs with boquete beers. The rooms are like pictured with great city view. We would be happy to stay here again on another trip to Panama City.

    THEY STEAL! NO ACCOUNTABILITY OR HELP FROM MANAGEMENT!

    Got my card stolen from out of my room and used to purchase $1500 worth of clothing and electronic merchandise. This happened either while I was getting breakfast or when I went downstairs to the bar for a quick bite. Informed management of what happened notifying them that nobody had access to my room except for housekeeping and staff from the hotel. Their response to the issue was basically “we can’t to anything, you would need to contact 2 separate numbers, wait for them to examine the situation, then maybe we can get involved and check cameras”. Was patient and tried to go through the proper channels but neither front desk, security, management was willing to get involved.

    Solid Hotel- Met all the Needs

    Solid hotel in Panama City! This was my first visit to Panama. Was on a tour with other professionals from my industry. While I typically stay at luxury and upscale brands, I was very satisfied by the comfort and amenities of this Aloft. For me, the number one feature is room comfort, and this hotel delivered. A simple, yet modern room with solid amenities, a very comfortable bed, and a good shower. Recommended!
