Alright, but definitely needs a lot improvement.
While the room itself was pleasant, offering beautiful views and a lovely sunrise each morning, my overall experience was far from what I expected, particularly given the hotel's rating and our booking expectations. Firstly, despite having specifically booked a double room, we were provided with two single beds. We were informed that a double bed was an optional request, which I find perplexing, as our reservation clearly indicated a preference for a double. This oversight was frustrating and disappointing. The service at the hotel was also inconsistent. Some staff members were exceptionally helpful and attentive, promptly addressing any issues I raised. However, others were unprofessional and dismissive, which left a negative impression. This was especially disheartening towards the end of the season, when one would expect staff to remain professional and customer-focused. The quality of food was another significant concern. The meals provided were consistently substandard, with no clear labelling of ingredients, making it a potential hazard for guests with allergies. The menu was monotonous, with fish being served daily, despite my personal dislike of it. Unfortunately, both my partner and I fell ill from the food, which severely impacted our holiday. When my partner attempted to report the food poisoning incident, the reception staff, particularly one individual, was rude and unhelpful. My partner was told to wait until customer service opened at 9:00 AM, only to find that no one was available. A second receptionist, Fabian, was even more unprofessional, tried to flip the desk and knocking over signs in a display of poor behaviour. We were left without any apology or assistance. The drink options were also subpar. Cocktails were made from a machine rather than freshly prepared, resulting in diluted, ice-heavy drinks. Additionally, many of the cocktails required an additional charge, despite the hotel offering an all-inclusive package. We were provided with two drink tokens upon arrival, limiting us to just one drink each. This was quite disappointing and restrictive for an all-inclusive resort. The lifts were another major inconvenience. There are only two lifts serving the hotel, and one was consistently out of order, making it a challenge to navigate between floors, especially when the hotel was busy. We were on the 8th floor and often had to wait 5 to 10 minutes for the lift to arrive, or resort to using the stairs. For guests with mobility issues, this situation would be especially problematic, and I can't imagine how difficult it would be during peak season. While the hotel is marketed as all-inclusive, I did not find it to be a good value for the price paid. The surrounding area offered limited dining and shopping options, none of which were particularly noteworthy. The beach, though a 10-15 minute walk, was tucked away in a cove and provided a different, yet pleasant, experience from the typical sunbed setup. The entertainment was adequate but lacked variety, which is understandable given that we were there during the final week of the season. However, more seating around the stage would have been appreciated, as limited availability meant we had to arrive by 7:00 PM just to secure a spot, despite the show starting at 9:00 PM. All together I am deeply disappointed with our stay at Aula Calas De Mallorca and, unfortunately, I would not recommend it to others nor consider returning myself.

Good but could be improved
We really enjoyed our stay overall. The hotel had lovely pools, a good snack bar, and spacious rooms. The entertainment team were so enthusiastic and clearly loved what they do, which made the atmosphere great throughout the day and evening. The view from our room was breathtaking, and the location couldn’t have been better — only about a five-minute walk to shops and bars, and roughly ten minutes to the beach. The hotel was mainly clean, but a few areas could do with improvement. The toilets around the hotel need a refresh, and some of the locks on the toilet doors should be replaced. Unfortunately, there was mould in our room, which let the experience down a bit. We also found the food quite disappointing — there wasn’t much variety, and many dishes weren’t labelled, which made it difficult to know what you were choosing. The cocktails were also a let-down, as they came out of a machine rather than being freshly made. However, the restaurant staff were always very friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated. As we visited towards the end of the season, it was disappointing that some of the bars started closing down, meaning we couldn’t use all the facilities we expected to. Overall, we had a nice time and would recommend it with a few improvements, particularly to the food, drinks, and general maintenance.

Great time
(All Inclusive, 5 night stay) Me and my partner stayed at this hotel in mid October and we had the best time :) Room - We had a room with a sea view and it was amazing, great to wake up to every morning. There was lots of space and storage, the bathroom was great, and although we didn’t use it too much the TV having Netflix was nice. Food & Drink - Buffet style food, lots of selection. They had themed dinners and lots of yummy desserts. They had a great selection of drinks, the wine was really nice. They have an app you can download which outlines what drinks are included in the all inclusive and which ones you need to pay for, but if you are all inclusive you still get the paid drinks cheaper than if you were just regular. Activities - Entertainment team was fab, friendly & fun! Great variety of activities from yoga to cocktail demos, bingo, t shirt painting. My partner and I got really stuck in and enjoyed all of them. Evening shows were great but sometimes struggled to get a seat so had to stand. There is a beach nearby, definitely check it out as the water is crystal clear!

Nice hotel
Nice location but not a lot going on in that area, few shops and eating places within walking distance, hotel nice and clean and staff very friendly, food was very good at start of week but then dwindling out towards end which was a shame. Didn’t agree with late check out you get charged €25 to keep your wrist band even though you have paid all inclusive. Shower room you get has no lock on it so it’s a quick shower! Pools very cold and not sure when inside one is open as was closed when there, gym has no air con so gets very hot, lack of information between the 2 sites we werent told the entertainment was in the other hotel complex.

not great
Our stay at this hotel was just okay, the rooms were clean and the pool was great. The food on the other hand was awful, none of it was labelled to tell you what it was which is dangerous for people who may suffer from allergies or intolerances. The kitchen staff also didn’t speak english so when we asked what the food was there was a communication barrier. The food was poor and didn’t taste great and could have improvement. The cocktails in the all inclusive are premade and do not taste great. There isn’t much to do outside of the hotel and is quite far from any towns, there is a small town 10 mins away but it is dead and none of the restaurants are great. i wouldn’t be back and wouldn’t recommend
