  Ok hotel but they need to redo their elevator system

  This hotel was fine for the most part. Close to the water but not super resort like. We don’t spend a lot of time indoors when here so this was fine for us. However their elevator system sucks! You can wait up to 15 to 20 minutes for the elevator depending on the time of day. We won’t stay here again due to that sadly.

  Wow SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT!

  Worst hotel room I have had in a LONG time. Very poor lighting, old dingy bathroom with 20-watt bulbs. No chairs to sit and read. Old dingy carpets, bare walls. We overlooked AC units from the roofs of buildings below us, with dumpster views. Elevators were dirty and SLOW. Wow. OK, Waikiki Beach right across the street but…. Ugh.

  Absolutely horrible hotel experience please keep away

  Absolutely horrible hotel please stay away! First we thought we found a decent hotel not overpriced and great location,then it all went downhill,walked in to the room the door wouldn’t open/shut properly so had to use a chain latch for safety,brown smelly stain on the carpet that was poo,woke up the next morning with bites from the bed to discover a few micro sized bugs,we mentioned this to workers but didn’t want to here it,then funny enough I received a text message saying I have received a $750 fine for smoking at the hotel but we both don’t smoke!! Without any proof or explanation they just brushed it off,worse experience we have ever had

  Very Uncomfortable!

  Our stay at the resort was extremely disappointing, primarily due to ongoing issues with the air conditioning and cleanliness of the rooms. When we arrived and entered our first room, we discovered dirty underwear from the previous guest mixed in with the towels. This was extremely unpleasant and concerning from a cleanliness and housekeeping standpoint. The air conditioner in our first room was also not functioning properly, so we were relocated to a second room. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in that room also did not work adequately. We were then relocated a third time to another room where the air conditioning worked somewhat better, but it still struggled to keep the room comfortable, especially during the middle of the day. Additionally, every room we were moved to had significant gaps around the door, allowing cool air to escape. This made it even more difficult for the air conditioning system to maintain a comfortable temperature. In the final room we stayed in, I decided to check the air conditioner intake before we left the resort to see whether the filter had been changed. I was extremely disappointed to find that the filter was in horrible condition—it was completely caked with dirt and grime. This raised serious concerns about the maintenance and cleanliness of the air conditioning system. I also spoke with several other guests during our stay, and they mentioned experiencing similar problems with their air conditioning. Overall, having to relocate rooms three times, dealing with significant cleanliness issues, and still not having a properly functioning air conditioner made for a very uncomfortable and unpleasant stay. The condition of the air conditioning filters and the cleanliness of the first room were particularly concerning. I believe these issues should be addressed promptly to ensure that other guests do not have to experience the same problems

  Waikik? Why Not!

  Twin Fin is a fine hotel. It could be a very good hotel if management served guests in av timely manner and solved problems as priorities. What I loved: We walked everywhere and nowhere was very far. The open plan of the hotel. From our first glance it felt like we were on a Hawaii vacation. The place smells so tropical and relaxing that just breathing puts you into a euphoric state and you remain that way the entire time you're there. The rooms are large and ours had a pretty good view of the ocean and a balcony. If you can get a balcony I highly recommend it. The food at the hotel is quite good and the service poolside is outstanding. What I didn't like: Our TV service didn't work properly the entire 6 days we were at the hotel. Every day I complained and t was never remedied. When I'm in the room I like to relax with some TV. When it doesn't work and they don't fix it, it makes me stressed and deters from the quality of the stay. My biggest complaint is about the elevators. 6 working elevators and you can only be served by the one that is going to your floor? So at times we had to wait 15 minutes for the elevator in stead of one of the 6 working elevators being made available. It's just stupid and the single reason I would think twice about returning. And finally, to get pool or beach towels you have to click your key and be responsible or returning as many towels as you borrow or be charged upon check out. What?! We went to the beach with 4 hotel beach towels. A ave deluged us and we were drenched with seawater and sand. After washing off at the beach shower I had to lug 4 soaked through with seawater and sand very heavy towels to be sure that I wouldn't be charged for not returning them? this was a point of irritation the entire time. The Ritz Carlton, Hyatt, Marriott, or even Holiday Inn don't do that and to me it was demeaning and somewhat draconian. Being at the ocean was sublime. We created some amazing memories here and I would come back. But next time in Waikiki we'll probably stay more centralized.
