Oct 11, 2026Lovely hotel and staff..
Highly recommend Aqua Blue. Our room was large with a huge comfortable bed and all the facilities we needed. Lovely pool area with plenty of sunbeds so there was never any issue with reserved ones etc. The breakfast always offered plenty of choice and the staff continuously cleared away while also making sure all food was replenished if running low. Everywhere in the hotel was immaculately clean. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only slight minor issue was we could hear noise from neighbouring rooms. The area around the hotel had plenty of lovely restaurants, unfortunately due to the time we were there some places were closing for the season but we still had plenty of choice and ate somewhere different nearly every evening of our 10 night stay. Overall, if we return to Santorini, we would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is perfectly situated on the seafront. I agree with lots of the positive reviews but one of the aspects that spoilt my holiday was lack of shade by the poolside. The parasols which are plentiful had tags saying not to use for most of our stay due to weather conditions. I found this very unacceptable as temperatures were very hot. I accept this decision in times of high winds. But these tags were not removed even when the winds were low. It meant people did not have sun protection in very high temperatures including children and elderly people. I did speak to my jet2 representive about this but didn't make much differece. Enjoyed my stay but would not return and would not rate as five star.

Perfect hotel for total relaxation
The hotel is perfect in every way. Spacious, very clean and modern rooms directly facing the pool. Opening the door in the morning to the tranquility of the water is so soothing. Rooms have spacious terraces overlooking the centre of the pool area and pool bar. Food at the pool bar is good value. Large portions of tasty food at reasonable prices. Breakfast also varied selection of cold and warm. Healthy options are available and plenty of fruit. Private free to use beach with sun loungers just outside the hotel. Never a shortage of loungers there or at the pool. As this is a smaller hotel the pool is not very busy and nice and quiet. Perfect for the relaxing holiday we wanted. Staff are very friendly and are doing everything to make us feel welcome and at home. Overall, a lovely holiday in a hotel I highly recommend.

Birthday break
Location is brilliant, close to lovely restaurants and shops. Lots of restaurants to choose from, especially if you love fish. Tranquillo a vegetarian restaurant became our favourite, even though I'm not a vegetarian. Frozen yoghurt opposite the cable car stn in Fira is delicious. Bus stop is a 5 mins walk. Busses run about every 15-20 mins. Hotel is on the main strip, the beach is right infront lovely views of the sea at breakfast. Hotel provides sunbeds on the beach. Nice breakfast. All the staff were amazing, very clean hotel. Our room was located with the pool out front. We had a beautiful large airy room with a good sized en-suite.We could see the monastery the highest point of the Island, from our veranda. We'd recommend an early morning walk along the strip it's beautiful. Visit the beautiful village of Pyrgos, and the church. Santo wines is also worth a visit. Walk the stairs of Oia and Fira. We hired a car for 1 day and visited all our favourite places from one end of the Island to the other in 6 hours. A very memorable holiday.

One of the most gorgeous relaxing wonderful places we have been in a while
One of the most amazing relaxing holidays . The staff are all wonderful caring helpful The place is gorgeous, not overcrowded and has a perfect balance of beach and pool . Rooms are lovely and spotless . I will be back and thanks to all the gorgeous people who made it very special
