Near Everything!
Location was smack in the middle of everything. The Bus is right outside the the hotel. Rooms were very clean. Good price for it's location. Beach, shops, restaurants, public transit is in the immediate area.

Staff was not cordial and tried to cheat
The staff tried to trick us by giving a regular double bed room (300 SQFT) while we booked double bed suite (500SQFT). We went up found out the room is smaller and came down to switch to the right room category/size. The staff was trying to defend her act which clearly showed she was trying to cheat us with a smaller room. We had to go up to check the rooms again and came down to confirm one of them that matched the size and specification of the booking. We booked 11 days and the staff didn't treat us cordially or checkin was bad.

Average, avoid
Totally average. Stay elsewhere if you can afford it. Room was OK but was way too expensive. Clean and OK liction but no view. Plenty of other good places to stay.

The Roachia
The Roachia (formerly “The ʻOhia”) If you’re thinking about staying here—don’t. Just don’t. I’ve stayed at The Roachia twice, and the second time was purely out of desperation because literally nowhere else was available. Huge mistake. The staff? Rude, dismissive, and allergic to accountability. Customer service here is basically: “That sounds like a you problem.” The first stay was bad. The second stay was full-on biological warfare. Roaches. Bed bugs. Not a cute little “oh it’s Hawaii” bug—no. I mean disgusting, crawling, biting, itchy nightmares. It got so bad they “upgraded” me to the top floor with a nice view… as if roaches and bed bugs respect elevation. Spoiler: they don’t. Then there’s the deposit. Never got it back. After multiple calls, emails, and attempts to reach management, I was finally told: “It’s your card’s fault. But give it a year… maybe it’ll come back.” A YEAR. It did not come back. Neither did my patience. The only positive thing I can say? This place is apparently fantastic for prostitution, junkies, or a gay guy, for hosting a busy anonymous hole. If that’s your goal—congrats, you’ve found paradise. But if you want cleanliness, professionalism, or to leave without itching and questioning your life choices—run. The Roachia is itchy, sticky, and not worth a single dime. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy… unless my enemy was a bed bug. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. 🪳🪳🪳
