Great location and spacious enough for a family of six. Only thing I would improve is central air because it gets very warm In the entire house

Know before you book
No complaints about our condo. It was clean, quiet, beautifully furnished with 2 portable A/C units and well-stocked kitchen. The location is beautiful with an easy walk to Poipu Beach Park. You will need to drive to any shops. My reason for 3 stars was the check-in process. We arrived after 10pm (1 am on our body clocks) after a late flight and car pick up. Due to construction the entrance is blocked! This was never mentioned. We had to park down the street and hike through the road construction only to be greeted by…no one. No one answered the phone used to get code for our key, ghosted by the emergency line. Thanks goodness for the night security guys who were also helping another family. Without them we would have never found our room which was on a completely different street! They even stayed to make sure we got in. Thanks guys! Bottom line: good place stay, ask lots of questions before you book.

May 13, 2026Really nice place to stay. Quick walk to Poipu Beach.
Location was fantastic! Quick walk down to a little section of Poipu Beach and a couple minute walk to the bigger beach where the turtles come in before sunset! Atmosphere was comfortable. We did notice that when we moved the TV out from the wall, it was really dirty behind there. Other rooms were very clean. The birds chirp all night and woke us up early every morning, but that’s just nature! We appreciated the bottle of wine, chocolates and cookies to welcome us! That was very nice! We also enjoyed sitting out on the balcony for happy hour!

Good location, not exactly what was expected.
The location of this “resort” is great. Close to beaches and things to do. Unfortunately, it is misrepresented online and we were in a “home” that was quite old and not updated with no AC. The smoke alarm was chirping at night, the master bed and pillows were not comfortable, the master bath was not updated - the jet tub was broken and the shower was very small. Overall, the place was “serviceable” but certainly not nice and comfort was lacking. It is maybe difficult to showcase all the options in a “resort” through an online booking tool, however, the place we got was not what we expected. Did it work, yes. Was it big, yes. Did it have the appropriate number of baths and beds, yes. However, there was no indication we would have no AC, chirping smoke alarm, leaking windows, really old outdated kitchens and baths. Overall, did it impact our enjoyment of the area…not really. It’s a great location. I just felt the listing was not honest.

Be very careful. During my stay I was charged a mandatory $180 cleaning fee that was never disclosed at booking, does not appear in my confirmation, and was not mentioned at check-in. I provided proof, but the hotel still applied the charge and pushed responsibility to the travel agency instead of taking accountability. As of May 12, 2025, U.S. law (FTC Rule on Unfair or Deceptive Fees) prohibits undisclosed mandatory fees in lodging. This situation wasted a lot of time and energy during my vacation and seriously affected the experience. Ask for a full written breakdown of all fees before booking.
