    Never Again!

    I arrived on the afternoon of 23/12 to be told the apartment I had booked back in October and paid for in full, was no longer available until 29th December due to plumbing problems. I was "dumped" into a one-bedroom hotel room with no cooking facilities, plates, cutlery, or cups. Given the high season, I could not find any alternative accommodation, so I had no option but to stay in this room. The room had an adjoining door "locked" where a family with young children were staying. They were understandably noisy and meant staying in a very uncomfortable experience. People were coming and going all day and night, banging their front doors without any concern for anyone in the complex. The room was dark and dirty, with mould on the curtains everywhere. Even when my booked accommodation was "ready" I had to chase to be allowed in to it, check-out time is 11am, and check-in is 4pm. Despite numerous phone calls to reception, I ended up having to go physically to them at 4;30 and ask why I had not been contacted. They then made a phone call and mysteriously, I could check in and move. No attempt to even offer assistance to move. The manager on duty on the night of the 23rd "gaslighted" me, saying "she should actually be out doing her Christmas shopping", not dealing with the plumbing issues. I'm sorry, but this is not acceptable customer service at all. When I finally did move the condo I had booked was fine, apart from being directly near the swimming pool where families these days appear to think it is fine to have children screaming up until 10 pm at night!

    Kihei is a great lication

    Kihei was a great location, central to all is Maui. Great access to everything you need and was not crowded compared to the resorts in Wailea or the Northwest island.

    Nice lace near Wailea without their prices.

    Nice property in great location near Wailea and all the good snorkeling beaches there. Nice updated studio. Nearby restaurants and right across the street from the beach.

    Heavenly

    Location from the beach and entertainment was spot on. Convenient parking fabulous staff and great atmosphere. The landscape within the property just definitely makes it a part of paradise.

    Aston at the Maui Banyan is a Mighty Beauty!

    As a first timer to Maui and Hawaii, I wasn't quite sure where to stay. A family member suggested Kihei and so I booked Maui Banyan. Easy to get to from the Airport, using the Public Bus System, you will get dropped off near the entrance. First impressions, this place is massive, or so it seems when you're on foot. The room is absolutely massive with spacious area inside, a super comfy bed and a balcony to let that cool island breeze come through. The beach is close by, as well as a mini shopping centre with some restaurants and take away. This area is super safe and super chilled. I could walk to the bus stop to go to a bigger shopping mall or to other parts of Maui. Easy to walk to the shops and restaurants. There is a coffee filter machine provided in the room however for a self confessed coffee lover, I needed more coffee :D Nearby Food and drinks are about 5-10 minutes away. Small selection or you could catch transport and go further into town. There is a nice outdoor pool within the grounds of the resort.
