Nov 15, 2025Location and ocean view
We booked an ocean view double room for our family of 4. The room was tiny, but we managed. The location is the best for the hotel. We were on the 12th floor. In the morning we would just ride the elevator to the ground floor and cross the road for an early morning swim. There are plenty of eateries nearby. We took an Uber from the airport and back, as you don't need a car as everything we needed was walkable. the only issue was the noisy air conditioning unit at night, but we slept through it.

5/5 for the A/C
This review is just for the AC. I named her Sheryl. She hung on for dear life at an even 68°F for the entire weekend. My bed was comfortable. The room is big enough for two people comfortably. I wouldn't put a family in one room but I guess with small kids it would be okay. My only real complaint is the showerhead. It faces right into the floor so if you're not careful with the curtain, you'll flood the bathroom. And it's a real small shower. Again, 5/5 for view and the AC.

Very bad experience. Would not recommend. I checked into my hotel and the ac was broken I went back down to move my room or cancel, tbh said they won’t put me in the same room and it would be different. So I said I would cancel. Then when they talked to Expedia they told them they offered me the same room and would only offer me a partial credit. What a disgusting business practice. For everyone’s awareness, the pictures on Expedia are not reality. It’s nasty. The stairwell smells like vomit. The staff are rude. Choose elsewhere.

Amazing!!! The hotel was not only just right across the street but neutral to everything
Amazing view of beach and loved the service and stay. Service was not only friendly but helped us with all our needs. Again clean and relaxing!

Very old hotel. Housekeeping is only every 3 days. So we never got towels or coffee pods unless we stopped at the desk. No trash pickup either. Room service is actually through Doordash with a service fee. And tip. There is no lobby. The check-in desk looks like the ticket window at a movie theater. The staff was very friendly, very helpful.
