  Rude customer service and parking tickets !!

  Im actually in the hotel right now. Forget about how old it looks feels and is. With crooked floors and dirty carpets. They actually write Fines, actually tickets to hotel guests for..... reverse parking inside their hotel parking lot! Yes thats right. And then the workers give you attitude about it to, they told me that they could tow the car if they wanted to!! This is the craziest experience I've ever had. Stay away this place is a disgrace!

  Quiet Beautiful staycation

  This hotel is not on the main strip so it’s pleasantly quiet.beautiful unobstructed views of Diamond on the pool level. You can have either beautiful Mountain View’s or ocean views. They have a mini mart on the 5th floor and gym and pool 6th floor.

  Decent stay but don't expect more.

  Location was superb on the quiet end of Waikiki. It was nice. Kitchenette and supplies was nice. Pool was nice. Room cleanliness was sub-par we got comped a couple days for the amenities. The hotel can use fresh paint in rooms and walls. People say it looks dated but we think having chips on furniture, walls and floors showing scrapes in hallways can be improved.

  I recommend, for a budget traveler

  Best bang for your buck for a longer stay. They are a tad outdated but they are renovating, but honestly if your on vacation all day coming in it still smell fresh and clean and everything I needed.

  Ok but certainly not good.

  Ok. So originally we booked the Aston banyan. When we arrived, totally unacceptable. The front desk called the sunset and they had two rooms ocean view. Nice. Same price. So the rooms had a spectacular ocean view, however the rooms have a lot of wear and tear . A lot of! But felt grateful not to be at the banyan. The first problem is that the doors are a good one inch from the floor, sooo… all of those who permanently live there seem to put on food in the morning, maybe in a crockpot and so the hallway smell horrific, and it comes into your room under the door unless you place towels under your door. The air-conditioning worked great. The beds were OK. It was interesting that we booked two rooms next-door to each other and they had different bedding arrangements. One had two twins one had a double and a twin interesting for two couples did not make us very happy. However, Michelle downstairs and Nick downstairs at the front desk seem to be the most helpful people in the entire Hotel. We were there during hurricane LaLa and we fared fine however, the hotel lost the use of their elevators. It wasn’t that they lost the use of them. It was that they did absolutely nothing to make it better for us. We are on the 34th floor. It was not enjoyable to walk up and down 34 floors. It took several days to get it working. They did nothing to compensate. They did nothing to stand at the elevators and direct traffic. It was a good 30 minute wait to get on the elevator once they were working because at first they only had one of the four working the first two days. It would’ve been exceptional if They had an employee there to make sure that those who were in line got on first. Anyway, would I stay here again, absolutely not was it OK? Sure. Just OK though. The standouts were Michelle and Nick at the front desk. And the housekeeping staff the rest was well just. acceptable. I would definitely find a better option.
