  Outstanding service from front desk

  Highlights - The customer care on the Bonvoy app prior to check-in was great - The checking experience and the problem solving process was outstandingly well. Katerina was able to give me an alternative suite towards courtyard with less traffic after some confusion at the beginning. Dimitrios help me to check the new family suite out before I moved in. - The smoothies and the fresh fruits from the breakfast buffet was so tasty and made my day definitely Improvement potential - Some of the furniture in the room need to be replaced - I wish to have more Greek local specialities offers from the breakfast buffet

  Always a Great Place for Marriott in Athens

  TA Review: *High Points: Angelos at the Front Desk, Harris at evening Lobby Bar was surprisingly proud of his wine selection and made me feel wonderfully welcome with snacks and a glass of wine; ample "American" breakfast full of local Greek treats (busy at times to be expected) *Low Points: the M Lounge staff in evening was not welcoming during my stay *Unique Points: one of the closest airports to airport ATH with lounge access; huge terrace with huge sliding doors that surprisingly quiet the traffic from Syngrou

  COMFORTABLE AND MEMORABLE MARRIOTT ATHENS STAY

  We are in the middle of our month long stay in Athens.The stay has been of top quality and a memorable daily occurance of smiles and warm staff not being able to do enough for you.To have all the staff in one hotel of the same top quality is rare.The Athens Marriott definetly provides the utmost in service from the check-in-staff to the food and beverage area .Here i must highlight Mary Ann, whom greets you with an astonishing level of warmth and desire to assist on every morning you stroll into the breakfast area.This continues once you enter the area with Irene and the two chefs Ilia and Antoni who love being creative in making breakfeast for you. The hotel is situated 5 minutes from the city or Pireas(shipping port) and 15minutes from Glyfada (seaside suburb) .Catching the bus provided by the hotel is easy or catching a taxi is just as simple. Great area to meet people for a meeting or have a drink on the roof top bar/restaurant. The rooms are very clean and prices are affordable for most family budgets. All in All A Fabulous experience for my family and i . Congratulations to Dimitri Venizelos( Front Desk Manager) who is an impressive indivdual for his efforts in having the staff operating at such optimum levels.

  Excellent hotel for relaxing and adjusting to time zone change

  Very clean, great amenities, excellent customer service, delicious buffet breakfast, and safe neighborhood. Although the hotel was not near the historic sights, there was a Marriott Bus to take us downtown. .

  Smiling faces!

  I’ve been coming to the Marriott Athens for several months. Always very pleased. Staff is very welcoming and efficient. Especially Angelous and Katarina at the reception have been very helpful and courteous from making reservations to checking out and helping anyway they can. Dimitra at the roof top bar is always so welcoming and smiling. I shall return in the spring in hope of seeing them all again.
