Always a reason to come back!

This was our third visit and after much deliberation each time, Aulani always fits the bill (the expression but not the wallet!). It’s $$$ but comparable to other beachside resorts in Hawaii. But you can’t find the large room types, amazing service, and fun stuff (water slides with tubes, lazy river, adult and kid hot tubs and pools, safety (lifeguards and life jackets), beachside (lagoon) snacks, fish when snorkeling/seals and pool toys (boogie boards and sand toys) elsewhere without a resort fee! We had studios, DVC 1 and 2 BR villas for our family’s 50th reunion celebration. Kids from 2 to 16 enjoyed this place as well as the young-at-heart adults and seniors. Lots of activities available and the app is great to use. Kids club is well organized with 3 x 1.5hour free time slots per day and other paid activities. Love that they changed access to the late checkout change room by just asking the front desk after 11am (used to be a line up at 6am!) and they added a refillable coffee tea station at Off The Hopk early in the mornings. Getting and staying at a chair policy before 8 am and hourly works well and staff are very good at talking down some angry people, but the resort is always super busy Vs eg kauai resorts. Off the hook food and ulu cafe service were amazing. We see ourselves returning again. Top limo, Charley’s taxi, or Uber can be used for transportation if you don’t rent a car. If you do (for excursions or Costco run), Hotwire was helpful. They also have onsite car rental (enterprise). dVC members get free parking but otherwise if can add up as there are also nightly hotel taxes. Love it here. The on-site store is better priced for some things (eg diapers and milk) Vs the ABC store across the street. Prices keep going up which hopefully won’t get out of reach for many as this is an awesome resort.

    We will be back!

The Aulani is paradise and we miss it already! There is definitely magic in the air at this resort, the staff were all so friendly and accommodating. So many dinning options and we loved the beach area. So beautiful but super safe for kids. Even if you don’t love Disney, this place is amazing. One of the best resorts we have ever stayed at and we are already booking our next visit! Thank you Aulani for the beautiful memories.

    AWESOME resort!!

My husband attended a conference at this resort a few weeks ago, and he let our college-aged daughter and I tag along. It was our first trip to Hawaii, and we truly had such an amazing experience! This resort was incredible – the lodging was so cozy and comfortable, and the staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating! We absolutely loved sitting at the beach or the different pools, and it was so convenient to be able to order drinks and delicious food from our lounge chairs. We loved staying in this area, and we’re so glad that we rented a car to be able to drive to some nearby areas. I would highly recommend this resort and can’t wait to hopefully come back someday!!

    A Trip to Remember!

We just returned from Aulani for Spring Break and had an incredible trip! It was definitely the busiest hotel I have ever been to but it makes it all that more impressive how great the staff and service was. Disney knows how to handle volume and any other hotel with that many people would have been a customer service disaster. You could find pockets of peace at the pools, the Ka Maka Grotto (infinity pool) was the best for this and you can see the ocean as well. We rented DVC points and had a one bedroom villa. The room was great and perfect for our family of 4 and having space for a week. We did not buy groceries but the kitchen was super helpful in using leftovers. The portions are huge everywhere and boxing up food we were able to skip a few breakfasts and 2 dinners reheating food. The pool chairs were definitely an issue. We just made sure to send someone down by 7:30am to read a book by the pool to save a chair. Ended up being a relaxing part of my day I enjoyed, but by 8am, most if not every chair were gone. The staff was doing a great job enforcing the chair rule and removing items if you had not returned within an hour. Hardest job at the hotel for sure! We ate at every restaurant, Ama Ama was our favorite of the trip! Also recommend Mina’s Fish House next door at the Four Seasons. Great seating and view with fun cocktails in tiki glasses. They even had a kiddy cocktail in a puffer fish cup for the kids! We couldn’t get into the luau (open to book 6 months out and was full 60 days out, thought it was part of dining reservations at 30 days out) so went to Paradise Cove next door and had a great time there! We left the resort to explore the island for 3 days and visited Pearl Harbor, hiked Diamond Head and visited Kualoa Ranch. The ATV tour was amazing!! Also the Southeast side of the island is a must do! Remote and beautiful! We left Diamond Head and drove along the coast. Lanai lookout and Waimanalo beach were highlights. Overall a fantastic trip! Not a single poor interaction with staff, everyone was smiling and helpful!

A Very Magical Spring Break in Paradise

Was blessed to stay in a very comfortable one bedroom ocean view DVC studio villa for spring break during the first week of March 2025. The highlight was definitely a visit to their Laniwai Spa for a pedicure and massage. The incredible cast members at this resort are so happy, helpful. This was my third stay here, and it's better than ever before with more to see and do. Loved their snorkeling, lazy river, Menehune statues, 'Ōlelo Room bar, shaved ice with condensed milk, vanilla soft serve ice cream, and corn dog nuggets. The Hawaiian edutainment is everywhere on this property, and the resort has a very relaxing, calming feeling. Loved reading from the balcony while overlooking the beach or luau below me. Room and bathroom were well appointed. The bed was super comfortable with wonderful pillows. Hallways were always clean and quiet. Do recommend the Hele Hele shuttle for transportation to & from airport. If you have a Disney Visa, you get a 10% discount in their gift shop. Lots of great shops, restaurants, and little grocery store to walk to right across street.
