  Vacay at Ava

  Amazing and would highly recommend. So many options for dining and the pools were so nice. Butlers Rafael and Tharvin were 10 plus. Absolutely amazing and we were fortunate to have them.

  Great week at Ava

  My husband I spent an amazing week at Ava. Our room was spacious and well appointed. I just wish the bathroom light was a bit brighter . We read reviews about a mosquito problem and we took repellent but never needed it. Our butlers, Daniel and AB made our trip incredibly enjoyable. They had our dinner reservations confirmed for us each night, and met us at our restaurant to make sure our meal went smoothly. They stopped by our pool each day to make sure we had all we needed. We were very happy with our trip.

  Needs to be upgraded but great staff and a lot to do!

  Let me start off by saying this is not an upscale resort. It’s advertised as a “new” resort but it’s very obvious upon entering the actual rooms, that this is a formally owned/newly renovated property and perhaps only new to this hotel brand. For it to be open less than two years, the furniture and structures in the rooms is very worn. Also, the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. Our first night there were crumbs left on the floor from the previous guest which you’d think they’d clean more thoroughly between guests. Other than the rooms themselves, the property is nice and the restaurants were all really good. I wish they served more poultry options though—-particularly the buffet serves very limited non-pork and non-beef options. But the staff was very friendly and always attentive. The pools were very nice as well. And the staff at the beach and pool were amazing. Actually the staff at the entire resort deserve five stars because they were all great. We loved that they had so many amenities for families. However it definitely does not sit on the prettiest side of the beach but if you just want a little sand and quiet time by the water then it’s fine just don’t expect any pretty sand or water photos. Overall, we had a great time. My suggestions for the hotel would be to upgrade the furnishings, prioritize being more thorough in cleaning the rooms, and offer more poultry options on the menus particularly during breakfast. I’d recommend this hotel again though mostly because of the great staff and entertainment/amenities.

  Amazing Trip! Would stay again.

  We just returned from an amazing family trip to AVA Resort Cancun, and we truly can’t say enough good things. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely outstanding. Our butlers, Hector and Damian, went above and beyond every single day — attentive, kind, and always making sure our family had everything we needed. They truly elevated the entire experience. The food across the resort was incredible — fresh, flavorful, and consistently high quality, which can be hard to find at large resorts. Service somehow managed to be even better than the food. A special shoutout to Leonardo at the Legendary Pool, who took such great care of us and made our pool days extra enjoyable. The resort itself is spotless, beautifully maintained, and feels very modern and luxurious. Our room was clean, stylish, and comfortable — perfect for relaxing after full days of fun with family. This resort strikes the perfect balance between luxury, comfort, and warmth. We made so many great memories here and would absolutely return. Highly recommend AVA Resort Cancun if you’re looking for exceptional service, amazing food, and a beautiful, family-friendly getaway.
