Beautiful & relaxing
The place has a relaxing vibe with a pool right outside your bedroom patio. Friendly and warm staff as well as the guests. I really appreciated the staff on the beach that was so accommodating. There was just the right amount of activities if that was something that you were interested in doing. I cannot say enough good things about Azul. My husband and I will definitely be back.

Rundown Resort!
I travel every year (40 yrs) on a girl's trip to every island u can imagine n always a Good to Great experience. NOT HERE! IT'S THE WORST! Do NOT believe to pics of lobby, rooms, restaurants- maybe 30yrs ago, Not Now! Terrible customer service from Juan (Operations Mgr). n Tenetta (Front desk mgr)!! Paid top $ for 2bd/2bath suite with living rm. Supposed to b ocean front (bldg #6) no balcony with little view n Rundown. Then painting next door left our room with hazardous fumes! These 2 acted as if we were the problem n could hv cared less! Put us in a family room (no view n on road side with cars n service cart noise all night! DO NOT waste your money at this terrible resort! Only 3 restaurants (1 an aweful buffet), then always an Italian Then switch from Asian to terrible Jamaican. No Top Shelf Liauor either!! No Hurricane damage here, just an old rundown resort n terrible need of a wrecking ball!!!

Serious Management Issues at Azul
Long honest seasoned traveler review. The location of this resort is 10+++. The employees minus management are 10+++. The beach and pools are 10+++. Majority of the food is good. The entire hotel needs to be shut down, rehabbed and renovated. There are structural issues everywhere. Tripping hazards everywhere. Unhappy guests throughout. We were 3 adult senior women traveling on our annual January girls trip. We prefer resorts with 2 bedrooms suites. Our first suite was in building 6. Room very outdated. No dresser or closet in the master bedroom to put clothes in. A small closet in the hallway was provided for that room. High tubs to step over in each room. No where to put toiletries. Minimal electrical outlets. We tried to change rooms because we paid for an oceanfront. This suite was behind a pool with a common balcony located in a hallway. No one in management would hear our request. On day 4 they painted the room beside us making for heavy fumes in our room. After 2 more hours dealing with our request to move rooms to a different building we were given a room in building 5. The building 5 family suite loft stairs are extremely dangerous and steep. The resort manager Juan refused to put 3 adult senior women in adjoining rooms after needing to evacuate our suite in building 6 that was filled with unbearable paint fumes from the room adjacent that was being renovated. Terrible customer service. Unable to carry suitcases up 2 spiral flights of steps. AC leaked and was too noisy throughout the night to sleep. Water pressure was trickle in the sink and lighting was poor. The entire resort needs to be shut down and some serious repair and renovation needs to take place. Shame on Karisma Resorts to keep this one open. The worker bee staff here are the ones who are stars. Not management or ownership. There is a charge to use flippers for snorkeling and a charge to use a hobie cat not all resort water sports were free. We would like to mention Diana our housekeeper as a star employee. She followed us to our new room to clean. Thank goodness for her . Kimberly, Indera Kamari , Kaylia , Alfonso were star bartenders. This was my personal 10 th vacation to Jamaica so I really do love this island. I read a ton of reviews before arriving so none of this building issues were a surprise to me. What was shocking was a lack of customer service or care by a manager who could do something about our situation. There were a ton of open rooms but he would not budge on a simple request telling us the resort was full. Half the guests left early due to the storm and the other half could not fly in due to US storms. Our vacation was 1/21-1/28/26.

Disappointed Return Visitors
Room service hit and miss, no ice cream for 8 days and when it was available the choice was either chocolate or vanilla, no mojitos available due to no mint in the bars (except for one day only after complaint). Queues of an hour for popular specialty restaurants. Definitely a 3 star hotel. Completely changed since our last trip when it was a TUI sensatory.

Amazing time!
This was our first time in Negril and at Azul Beach Resort and we had a great time. Although our trip was short we were still able to check out all the amenities. We can’t wait to come back in the fall for our wedding!
