  Bad experience! Never go again!

  Very poor service, rude attitude towards tourists. The rooms (Junior Superior) are in terrible condition, with old beds, terrible pillows and blankets. The food selection is limited, and you have to wait in line for some food. Half of the containers are empty. The employees pass by to get coffee or soda; you have to ask and they're not guaranteed to bring it. The food is of very poor quality, the meat or fish is undercooked, and there are never any pool towels available. I couldn't get one 6 days out of 8. There are not enough sun loungers on the beach. The hotel has 3 floors and no elevator! Almost no one speaks English, and you immediately feel discrimination against people who don't speak Spanish. The costumer service and front desk are extremely rude. I will never go to Bahia again, and I won't recommend it to friends or clients!

  ?! Would we go again.... hrm.... not sure...

  Everything was great except the elderly villas with multiple things that were broken inside the room, and not functioning including mold in the bathroom, outdated tiles that were broken, bathroom ceiling that looked like it was going to fall down, room with myriad of mosquitos, mirror that looked like it was going to fall off, bathtub faucet handle was broken, fridge that was barely keeping cold, safe thst was not working, some electric outlets were not functioning, ceiling fan looked as if it was going to fall if used. And lack of beach towels unless you line up at 830, because if you get there after 930-10am there is no beach towels until late afternoon. Other than that service was great, as well as entertainment, cleanliness of the resort, food quality and choices, ala cart was great.

  Second visit not as good

  We were at this resort back in 2017 and it was great. Went back last week and things have changed. We were in one of the updated villas near the beach. First night the toilets plugged up twice. No flush paper was the maintenance guys mantra. Moved to another villa.. we get there and there was no sheets for the couch (3 of us in the room). Food gets very repetitive by the 3rd day lol. Staff are great. There is a gift shop (see photo) half way between the lobby and the beach. Be very careful in there as the guy overcharged us by $55 USD and wouldn’t give my money back. I spoke to one of the managers up at the lobby who accompanied me back there. I had to get their help to get my money back. The sales guy said he wouldn’t return the refund to my CC.. I had to pick out more merchandise to bring back. I didn’t want it lol but I sure wasn’t going to let them have it. Be aware. In the new villa we only had one more issue with the toilets plugging up. It’s a resort wide issue. As a final bit of info to share bring bug spray with you. Mosquitoes will devour you. Some of my daughter’s bites got infected and had to take antibiotics when we got home. The pools at the mid section of the resort are not as busy as the pool near the beach.

  Impressive resort in a beautiful location

  Very impressive resort in physical size and amenities . Enjoyed the ala carte restaurants though most meats were overcooked the exception was the Mediterranean restaurant that was incredible (the lamb). Enjoyed the staff especially Jose, Julio and Edwin at the beachside pool bar. Lots of entertainment choices but no live music. The resort was beautifully landscaped and well maintained. We received upgraded rooms as one of our party was celebrating her birthday and the were recently renovated and tastefully done

  Best vacation ever.

  Best beach. Best service. Best food. Best staff. There was nothing disappointing about this vacation. We will be back.
