  SERVICE is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE LEVELS!! NEEDS TO IMPROVE!!

  Improving the service at this hotel needs to a PRIORITY for the management team! The staff give off this horrible attitude, it's off putting and makes you wish you had not spent your money supporting them. If you need help figuring out what good service looks like, just visit the Luxury Esmeralda, the staff there know how to provide AMAZING SERVICE!!

  Absolutely brilliant

  Brilliant 2 weeks spent here . We had a Seaview room , the room was very nice and kept spotlessly clean, but could also do with a bit of modernisation. We spent most of our 2 weeks around the pool, which is absolutely massive and you can get sunbeds at any time of the day . The gardens and grounds are immaculate. Entertainment in the evening is good, and the fire show on the beach is also very good. If you are coming here for crystal clear Caribbean water, then you will be disappointed, but the beach is very nice for a good stroll. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Food in the main buffet is plentiful and very nice , we tried 2 of the 3 a la cart restaurants , they were very nice . YES we would definitely come back. Nick & Jo "UK"

  Not good- Beautiful location but Very bad service -Not worth the price.

  The location is beautiful, but the room was really bad. It had mold, and mosquitoes . It took a couple hours for them to give us better room. But both the rooms they gave were not what we had booked for. The food was not good, they was a large quantity buffet. But it did make us sick, it did not taste fresh. Housekeeping or roomkeeping was also not too good, we did ask them to leave water bottles, they didnt arrive for hours. Even when checking out the luggage person did not come. I think service was not good, location is nice, but not well utilized. The activities some of them werent as schedule. which was also a bummer. I would not return based on experience

  Disappointed

  Food was not acceptable hot not kept hot, flys on food not good. Limited supply of soft drinks (Diet Coke). Have stayed with this group several times over the years I have to say that most of the staff are very good, but when you are confined to your room with vomiting and diarrhoea it really does spoil your holiday. We will not be holidaying with this group again ever.

  IF YOU WANT TO ENJOY A SWIMING POOL OR A BEACH RUN AWAY FROM THIS RESORT.

  Very poor management of sunbeds — unacceptable experience The biggest issue at this resort is the complete failure to manage sunbeds at both the pools and the beach. From the very first hours in the morning, around 80% of the loungers are “reserved” with towels, yet left empty for hours. This happens despite clearly posted signs stating that reserving chairs is not allowed. The rules exist only on paper — they are not enforced. Staff members simply say they “cannot do anything,” which is difficult to believe. The situation is so systematic that it creates the impression that employees themselves may be informally benefiting from this practice. Whether that is true or not, the result is the same: total disorder and unfairness. No manager or supervisor appears interested in solving the problem. We are a family of seven, including a child and people who are more sensitive to sun exposure. Despite being paying guests, we have repeatedly been unable to find sunbeds — not at the pool, not at the beach. Meanwhile, rows of chairs sit empty but blocked by towels for most of the day. This is not a minor inconvenience. At a resort of this category, access to basic seating and shade should be guaranteed, not a daily battle at dawn.
