  Great hoilday

  Fabulous holiday, great staff, just need to upgrade room

  Great value and great resort

  The grounds were amazing and well kept, facilities good. The rooms were nice and quite spacious. Food and drinks were good, enough food options for kids and people with intolerances. We had some minor issues with the safe and the fridge which were resolved immediately once we reported them to reception. Transfer shuttle in between resorts were a nice plus. I want to highlight Jose (and smaller Jose) from the cocktail bar at the kids area pool. They made our day. Overall very pleasant.

  Not going back.

  Sad to say this was the worst experience in Mexico we have ever had. There were thirteen of us in three rooms. The rooms themselves were spotless, but the refrigerators were pretty much useless, and one had to be replaced. The ceiling fan in one room was ready to come off and had to be replaced. Two of the three rooms wouldn't cool making it hard to sleep. The grounds were gorgeous, manicured and just a total joy to walk through. The pools were awesome especially for the little ones, but the beach was a no go due to the sargassum. The food was probably the most disappointing part of the entire experience. The food truck was deplorable and there was no mention of the Burger place being shut down. The restaurants were warm and the food average at best. The buffet again was very average. The steakhouse was a joke. The staff needed constant reminders in order to get things done. You had to get your own drinks and staff seemed very limited. There is no way I could recommend this resort to anyone.

  Not what you want as a family holiday

  Felt totally disappointed with our stay. The on-site restaurants are nice, but the buffet is the poorest I’ve ever been to. If your children like to have fun in the pool, I have four children ages three 915 and 20 and our holiday included two older girlfriends ages, 15 and 20 as well. When trying to enjoy time in the pools, you cannot dive, jump no matter what your age, be on someone’s shoulders, no matter what your age…. push your siblings in, or play fight in the pool. In the children’s pool areas with all the slides, no one is allowed to accompany young children, even if they are children themselves because they seem to be too big:… however, the whistle happy lifeguards blow the whistle if a sibling tries to accompany them and then blow the whistle again if a child runs the wrong way without supervision? How can any family enjoy the water in this environment. If you dare a challenge them and explain, no one is actually doing anything wrong. They then come over with the whole team of lifeguards and managers/manager to give you a verbal warning, threatening to then ban you from the hotel facilities? Alongside the awful food available in the buffet these rules make the hotel unenjoyable. The restaurants are very nice and included, If you are all inclusive, however what they don’t tell you you’re only limited to four visits no matter how long you’re stay. On a separate matter, the buggies that they used to transport you to your hotel when you arrive with your luggage, again they will leave you standing with very young children and luggage on your return journey to the lobby when you leave even if they’re not waiting for anyone and explain to you that is for privilege members only? Overall, this hotel really needs reviewing. We travel a lot and I’ve never actually done a bad review but I really felt the need to add these situations because it’s very unfair on people wishing to go on a family holiday seeing a hotel with so many family facilities and then realizing actually, they’re not very family orientated. One of the members of staff Sandra is specifically rude. The staff at breakfast are very nice on the hole can’t do enough for you and the breakfast selection is actually OK, it’s just a shame. They don’t put the same service into lunch or dinners. The bar Staff definitely deserve recognition as Jose and Roger are super friend and good fun. In serving all of my children there non alcoholic drinks they really made them laugh, and shared a lot of Mexican spirit. The cleaners of the rooms are nice I’m very good at their jobs however, the room itself is very underwhelming. The TVs didn’t work due to poor connections and low batteries, the showers dribble, the air-conditioning was temperamental in all rooms (as we had two) and didn’t work a lot of the time which in a hot country wasn’t very enjoyable.

  Great Family Vacation

  Overall great experience for our family trip. I would recommend this resort anyone as it gives you access to other reports as well.
