Nice complex but not quiet
This is a nice enough complex walking distance from shops and dining, which is nice. The pool has a lovely view and our kids really enjoyed going in it daily. The unit was very clean and the beds were comfortable. My only complaint was the noise—the people above us were VERY LOUD, and because the buildings are older and not well soundproofed, we lost a fair bit of sleep due to the noisy neighbors.

Hawaii vacation
The resort was okay but much older units. We would not have stayed knowing we had to pay the 35.39 per day for Amenities. There were basically no amenities. The coffee pot didn't have any filters for that style of pot and we had to request additional toilet paper and cleaner for the rooms. Not the greatest place to stay but did work under the condition. The glass table on the deck outside was cracked and it was never repaired. Could be a dangerous situation if it ever broke. It was brought up the maintenance staff.

You get what you pay for.
You get what you pay for. We got a great deal ( I think!) on the condo which is good but the condo we were in was on the road and so loud from constant traffic you couldn't open the porch door or louvered windows due to super loud noise. even at night. The furniture is pretty run down and internet and TV was broken our entire stay. I AM good with technology it was not user error. ( we mainly were outside everyday all day because, well, it's kauai!.. so not a deal breaker at all. But, at night it was not peaceful with zooming cars and trucks and blaring radios. The condo was VERY clean though and the beds were pretty comfy, they did a great job on that. The stove had broken burners but they came and fixed them right away, which was great. We were in condo 51 so do everything you can to not stay in that condo if you do decide to book. All in all we love Kauai. Nawilliwilli Harbor for us is an ideal location because we travel the whole island of Kauai when we come so being central is ideal. Kalapaki beach is lovely and has all the conveniences you can imagine. ( we travel all other sides for secluded beaches and jungle hiking) Banyan Harbor is a great location for the ambitious and adventurous group wanting to spend there time everywhere and there money on everything else the island has to offer. BUT, you get what you pay for.

Great Stay
Banyan Harbor is a really great place to stay. They accommodated my disability and were able to put us in a room on the ground floor. The staff were really awesome. The room was really great. It had a full size kitchen with a microwave and dishwasher, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a washer and dryer, very clean, and roomy. The only drawback for the unit I was in would be noise from the nearby highway. But hey, you are in Kauai, and you should spend your time in the ocean and on the beaches.

Very Nice Condo Resort - at Great Price
Very unique and surprisingly good experience. I'll keep this review simple. This resort is simple, small, quaint and really cool. Its clear that it is a shared condo for rent by travelers AND by local Hawaiians living in Lihue. Which often can be a not good experience. But this was a good experience. The condo was a two story - kind of thin - space. The bedrooms were small but good enough. A janky but just fine wall AC unit in our room. The boys room (second room) was bigger, but didnt have a view outside. Ours had a small Lanai which was nice and faced Nawiliwili/Kalapai Harbor - and a slight but good view of Hoary Head Ridge to the south. The resort is right down by the Harbor and within walking distance to the beach, Dukes Restaurant, that little shopping area over the Lihue Creek bridge. The access to the resort is EAAAASY. Fine parking. Stairs up to the condo were easy. BOttom level Lanai too. So TWO Lanais; one on each level was really nice. Bathroom was good enough. Solid water pressure. This was our first time staying in Lihue proper. Weve stayed in Kapaa and Poipu and over in Waimea town. It was nicely central to the island which we were hoping/planning for. Yeah - 15 Minutes to Kapaa. 20 minutes to Kalaheo (we love that little town). 25 minutes to Poipu. And 30 minutes up to the north shore. Great central spot. This was a high value resort for it being less expensive. Like 200.00/night was spectacular for what we got. It has a pool and tennis courts. And again - really good views. The view here in Trip Advisor of the resort and its views shows how nice the setting is. I give this resort an 8.5/10.
