    Unusual type of place

    Please know that this is a group of short term rental apartments. Our two bedroom, one and a half bathroom apartment had minimal charm. It overlooked a large construction site, which of course may be temporary. Compared with an Airbnb rental, it had less in the kitchen than you might expect. (I.e. coffee filters, normal sized spoons). The pillows were pretty dense. There was noise drifting up from the beach area until 11pm and the AC unit in the main bedroom was pretty loud. Glad we had a small white noise machine and earplugs. On the positive side, it was clean and there were restaurants in walking distance.

    Ocean Views- centrally located

    The overall experience was great. We checked in very late and the guest services were very accommodating. The town home we stayed in was great.

    Ono Condo... PAU!

    Outstanding location (90 minutes max from either end of the island - Polihale and Ha'ena Beach Parks); perfect amenities; amiable, helpful, & informative staff; and incredibly affordable... The Banyan Harbor Resort is definitely the best value on the island!

    🤶Mele Kalikimaka in Nawiliwili 🎅🤙

    I’ll cut and paste what I left for the host of the AirBnB at Banyan Apartments below: “” Mahalo for the stay at your beautiful home; Best Mele Kalikimaka - Ever! My reputation when I normally depart is to leave the AirBnB better than I arrived! I washed and dried all sheets , shower curtains, cleaned dishes, and of course emptied all my trash as the normal request from the host. Here is my extra credit going above and beyond... *Note* When staying at Banyan, every host I've stayed with in the past request pulling all laundry items and set washer and leave for housekeeping to set in dryer which I disagree with as most units have the high efficiency washer/dryer ..I have these units at my home and they specifically state to not leave clothes in the washer dryer after use. Also, after use, leave the doors slightly open so the washer/dryer doesn't get that "moldy" smell which affects the smell of clothing in future cleanings. Instead, I made time to ensure I dried and fold the laundry; leaving it on the bed for housekeeping! Everything fresh & clean, and no future stinky washer/dryer laundering. 🙏Again, Mahalo for the great stay in Nawiliwili 🌺 DJShanMac@hotmail.com Same comments cut & paste in my review.

    Very good experience

    The resort location is right in the middle and makes it super easy to go either direction, North or South. Within walking distance there is a nice beach, restaurants and a place to hire your snorkel or golfing gear, it is called Kauaiboundstore. You are also within 10 mins drive to the airport, Costco, and Target.The unit was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. They in fact swapped out the towels etc in the middle of my 7 day stay, which I did not expect.
