Lovey….Elizobeth our waitress was very friendly and welcoming…definitely should visit. The place was clean and well kept., calm and quite..You won’t regret it.

Exceeded expectations
Wonderful resort, well maintained and exceeded my expectations. The staff were so friendly and always helpful, Elisabeth Rodriguez in particular. She was a light in our evening every night and went above and beyond for us. Thank you!

Let me start by saying I am very sad that I have to submit this review. We typically stay on the premium level. We have stayed at this property 4 times (2020,2022,2023 with our whole family 11 in total, and 2025). We have also stayed at the Adults only property in Mexico (2021) and Costa Rica (2024). Until this last trip we overlooked some is the things that were less than stellar, but this time there were too many to mention. Our trip started well with a quick check in and room that was ready ahead of time for which we were very grateful, but then went down from there. We found our room average at best. No robes to be found and safe that had to be reset and finally was after a second request. Upon further inspection the bathroom shower was covered in mold and the shower head was molded as well. The conditioner dispenser was also filled with mold. The hairdryer broken but fixed quickly. The TV was pixels and not a full screen. The sheets were also stained. The next day our room service was delivered to the wrong room but corrected. On the 2nd day of the trip my wife developed a case of food poisoning. Also on day 2 we were then faced with a broken toilet (the flush handle had broken that connects to the chain) that took over a day and a half to fix after numerous times (at least 5) reporting the issue. I even offered to fix it myself if they would just bring me the piece. It did get fixed but only after I requested to do it myself. The restaurants were not open when they should have been (like Coral for premium members for breakfast and lunch). We scheduled our dinners in advance only to find out that some restaurants were only open on certain days that we would not be able to eat at the places we scheduled weeks in advance. The buffet selections were poor as we have become accustomed to options and better quality. There were a few bright spots the bar staff and wit staff were great, the housekeeper was very sweet, and the transportation back to the airport was on time. This pains me to say, but this was probably our last trip to Barcelo DR.

Best relaxing all inclusive in Punta Cana
7th trip to barcelo Punta Cana. The property is georgous and plentiful. Two properties in one. Always something to do whether the beach, pools, spa, or casino. The staff has always been very accommodating and friendly.

Had a great time especially Elizabeth Rodriguez is the best. Always has a beautiful smile and remembers my drinks without me asking. Thank you Elizabeth. Wish there was a DJ at the pool
