  Priceless Experience

  Dear Reader, I hope this note finds you well. By way of introduction, I am John Bailey, a recent guest at this beautiful establishment, Bel Jou. I wanted to take a moment to share my sincere appreciation for the exceptional experience my family and I enjoyed during our stay. This trip was a special one — my wife’s birthday coincided with our 10-year wedding anniversary, and we wanted a romantic yet classy way to celebrate with our family. Naturally, St. Lucia came to mind, and during our research, the larger resort brands initially stood out. However, I decided to call a few resorts to get a feel for their customer service and overall vibe. After speaking with two well-known brands and feeling underwhelmed, I called Bel Jou. The moment the young lady answered and described the nature of your gem of an establishment, I was sold. That first conversation set the tone for what became one of the most memorable vacations of our lives — and I’m delighted to say we were not disappointed in the slightest. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not just as guests, but as family. Every smile, every conversation, and every thoughtful gesture made us feel at home. Your team’s professionalism was matched only by their warmth, and it’s rare to find that perfect balance. It’s easy for travelers to focus on what goes wrong, but in our case, everything went right. Our experience was truly best in class, and we left with full hearts, unforgettable memories, and a deep appreciation for the people who made it all possible. Bel Jou isn’t just a resort — it’s a place where hospitality is genuine, where guests become friends, and where celebrations turn into lifelong memories.   Perfect vacation

  I would go back in a heartbeat. The BellJou was beautiful and quaint and very accommodating. I loved that it was adults only. The adults that attend this resort don't run amuck . All staff are authentic and happy you are there. Guests are polite and welcoming as well. Being all inclusive makes for a very relaxed vacation.

  Wonderful Stay

  Lovely authentic hotel, immaculately clean, good food, shuttle bus service to Vigie which was beautiful and so quiet. I travelled by myself and felt very safe, the staff were all lovely and couldn't do enough for you, the hotel was real St Lucia with an island vibe as opposed to a large soulless resort, would definitely reccomend, very sad to have had to leave.

  Perfect Vacation Escape

  I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent, with a great variety of delicious options throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the games and activities on the property they were fun, engaging, and created a wonderful atmosphere for guests. We also visited the pools and really enjoyed the cool, refreshing water on a hot day, which made our stay even more relaxing and enjoyable. One of the highlights of our trip was on Monday when my partner and I participated in one of the games and were thrilled to win a prize! It made the experience even more memorable. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. Please extend our appreciation to all of the staff for their outstanding hospitality and hard work. We look forward to returning in the future and will happily recommend your hotel to family and friends.

  Lovely

  Stayed for 10 days, visited hotel after recommendation from one of our sons and his wife. Transfer from airport both ways arranged directly by hotel, very competive rates. Our taxi driver was Alex (JCF TAXI SERVICE) very friendly and informative about the island. Hotel is kept very clean, gardens and pools immaculate., not too big and rather charming. We stayed in room 502, view was great, excellent shower. Housekeeping very good, thanks to Florina the chambermaid. Food at the buffet was on the whole very good, breakfast nice, Xavier with a tune & a smile on the hotplate cooking eggs whatever way you wanted. The food in the Hummingbird al la carte was very nice, we ate there numerous times and all the courses were very good. Afternoon cooking display from chef Alvin was excellent. Visited Vigie beach, using the hotels courtesy minibus, nice beach that's worth a visit. Also did a fantastic boat trip with Israel King Water Taxi Private Tours (I've done a separate review), this firm was recommended to us and it didn't disappoint a great day!. Met some really friendly guests on this holiday, from Canada, Australia, UK, many laughs. I think what makes this hotel, is what many reviewers have already stated, its the staff! From The GM Dean who is very present downwards, I can't remember all the names but thank you to all the following (sorry for people I've omitted) who made our stay so friendly: Tanika,Janet,Mac,Princess,Jolie,Quincey,Mikey,Bella,Jahfree,Shawnelle. Highly recommend this hotel for a friendly relaxing holiday.
