Feb 15, 2026Exceeded our expectations!!!!
Our week at Blue Diamond could not have been more relaxing and far exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The grounds and beach are stunning with every detail thought through. The food was exceptional with many options for those with dietary restrictions. But what stood out most was the staff. Filippe, Edouardo and Martin were among just a few who made our week extra special. April at the front desk was so helpful as well. There were many more who’s names I’ve forgotten. Will definitely be back to this beautiful spot!

Feb 14, 2026Extremely Disappointing – Nowhere Near 5-Star Standards
I stayed at Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique – Adults Only from March 4–7, and unfortunately this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in years. Before arrival, a booking change issue resulted in me losing approximately $650 for one unused night. While the travel agency made the mistake, the hotel showed zero flexibility and simply stated it was not their problem. They promised to “do their best” to offer something in return. Nothing was offered. Upon arrival, my first room had standing water across the closet floor caused by an air conditioning leak. I reported it immediately. Five hours later, the room was still flooded. After multiple visits from maintenance, I was finally moved at 20:30 losing most of my first evening. The second room was not properly cleaned (empty Doritos bag in a drawer), had no shower gel, and the toilet repeatedly malfunctioned. It broke multiple times during my stay and one night I did not have a working toilet at all. Also, the bed was old, squicking as you move and not comfortable. I spoke with the manager (Evon) who promised to follow up. She never did. Despite the repeated issues, no apology, no meaningful gesture, and no service recovery effort was ever made. The final frustration came when I asked for a one-hour late checkout (13:00 instead of 12:00). It was refused. After everything that had happened, this summed up the level of customer care. This hotel markets itself as a five-star luxury boutique property. It is not. The facilities are dated, there are clear maintenance issues, and most importantly, the service culture is severely lacking. I will not return and would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting true five-star hospitality.

Feb 14, 2026We had a wonderful time! we were there for 12 days all the people from Gardeners to Management were extremely friendly!
When we arrived at hotel It was clean and nice the rooms need updating ie faucets and grout but as we only spent time in our room to change and sleep we were not bothered too much Spoke to a few people at the hotel and they advised they were starting renovations. Which we did see them working on a few thing. As far as the food goes it was five star. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. I have a gluten issue and the waiter remembered the next day when I went back. Never had to wait in line for anything which is a bonus for me. A big shout out to Jenny, Angel, Edwardo and Luis. Loved that everything was alla cart and different menu each night. I have to give a Great Big Shout Out to Juverli at the Bar at the Aquamarine Bar He was there every night so happy to see and serve you drinks. He told me he absolutely loves his job. He meets wonderful people and gets to chat with them. Others that worked at the Bars were Jesus and Artou They were so friendly and always knew what you were drinking. Juverli and Jesus Always had the Anjeo El Gran Jurado ready for me. Always in a glass not a shot glass which I appreciate as I do not like to drink Tequila from a shot glass as I like to sip and enjoy the flavours. At the beach everyday I could count on Fidel and Felipe They would get my husband and my chair set up with and umbrella as I can not sit in the sun for very long and we would also have a bucket of ice with a couple of water bottles. They would always check in to see if we needed and food or drinks. Once we started to have drinks during the day most times we did not have to ask the drinks would just appear . Also a shout out to Jesus as he filled in the one day at the beach as Fidel was off and Felipe was working in restaurant Felipe and Fidel arranged for Jesus to set up our chairs. Just amazing service from all staff !!! The little bit of entertainment was good just wish there was a little more.

Clean and comfortable! The vibe is very pleasant and relaxing. The staff truly stands out for their kindness, the food and drinks were consistently good, with nice presentation and quality that met our expectations.
