Not as good as it was
I have been to this resort previously on two occasions. Unfortunately on this occasion it didn't live up to it's five stars. Positives - the spa treatments were amazing. Most of the staff throughout the resort were hard working and really friendly. Beach and restaurant staff - it really did depend on who you got serving you (or not serving you) staff wise. Negatives - we got the full week of workmen and diggers on the beach (whilst they put extra sand down). The schedule for this works was never kept to. Staff and guests were not updated by management about when the beach was to be closed - staff couldn't answer questions from quests. They changed the beach closing times with little warning. Yes they discounted us for the affected days, but communication is key when you are doing works at a hotel! Food was hit and miss - our first dinner at the resort we had to send 4 out of the 5 meals back as they were cold. The Asian restaurant (1st visit) we were squashed on a table and then limited as to how much food we could order! We complained. The second visit was better (except for dumper trucks thudding along the beach right by us and dishing out fumes galore), but food was returned to the kitchen as the fish cakes were 'fridge cold' in the middle. The entertainment was either cringe worthy (female singer) or excellent (disco jazz player). Reception was always too busy and you had to wait to be served every time you went to see them - lack of staff. Would I return - I very much doubt it. Already booked a 5 star in Antigua for November 2025

Amazing Honeymoon
We had an amazing time on our honeymoon a couple weeks ago at BodyHoliday. We felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. Our ocean view room was clean and modern with up-to-date amenities. We enjoyed the amount of exercise/activity options throughout each day. Food was amazing and quite healthy overall. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We also met a lot of people who are recurrent stayers which was a good sign. Would recommend to anyone looking for an all-inclusive hotel in Saint Lucia. We would definitely return!

Amazing Experience
Where do I start!!!! Going to the Body Holiday was truly an experience of a lifetime! I was greeted by the warm staff and then walked to my room by Garvey who provided such a warm welcome while I drank my delicious turmeric ginger drink!!! The place was stunningly beautiful and the staff were beyond friendly!!! I want to continue to shoutout names that made this vacation beyond memorable!!!! My driver Marlon Reynolds!!! Wow, you all are blessed to have him! He gave me the most unbelievable tour of St. Lucia and instantly became family! He was incredible!!! I cannot wait to return and do it again!!! Thank you Marlon!!!! Your hospitality and passion was such a blessing!! Dining experience: Whitney, Ms. Trista, and Merchrisna were amazing at Cariblue they instantly made me feel like I was at home!! I thoroughly looked forward to going to breakfast every morning to see them!!! They were awesome!!!! Shout out the omelette chef, Popo you make such an amazing Omelette!!! Tevin from Clubhouse was another employee that went out of his way making sure I felt at home!!!! Anna from Tao had such a pleasant smile and was so hospitable and the staff at Tao was fantastic!!! Curleena, thank you for introducing me to your delicious drink , the Bentley and your warm hospitality!!! Bryan the bartender was awesome!!!! Dwayne from the beach was always a joy!!! Fedonia Fifi was always very nice on the beach!!! Sherman the tube driver was super nice!!! Mr. Joe from Cariblue also a pleasure to work with every morning at breakfast!!! Shawn on the beach also Samuel Evans from Clubhouse was so kind! Lameia on the beach thank you so so much for the wonderful pictures you took!!! I appreciate you!!! Samantha from housekeeping was wonderful and went above and beyond for me every day!!! Thank you so much Sam!!!! Ms. Kelly Louis from special experiences and staff!!! Thank you for all of your kindness and direction!!! Kelly you were such a gem to work with and I look forward to seeing you again!! You are a standout employee! Thank you for speaking to me at the cocktail party and making me feel so at home!!!! Spa!!! Shoutout to all of the wonderful massage therapists that took such great care of me!!!! Excellent holiday. We were ll be back.
Birthday was so welcoming. There was never a no. We experienced one included spa treatment a day. It was all first class. The food was always delicious. My single room was spacious and the here was not a single supplement. The hvac kept my room cool but the thermostat was a bit wonky. Beautiful sand and great views from the beach.

Some issues starting to take the shine off
This was not our first return trip. We have previously loved most of it but the issues are starting to take the shine off. The good: The treatments are amazing. The staff are wonderful. It is a great feature. The not so good: Concierge / front desk has become a nightmare. They are understaffed and seem to spend a lot of their time sorting out restaurant bookings for people. The webroom seems to now be partially functioning so why can restaurant bookings not be tied in through that. It was way busier than we have ever seen it. Sun beds were being reserved at 0700 in the morning and it was difficult to find places with shade. Added to that, the umbrellas that do provide shade were, in places, unsafe. One fell over narrowly missing a guest at the cariblue pool. The umbrella was extremely wobbly on the base with corroded screws. There were frequently times when there were no beach towels available This busyness also caused problems with activities. I am normally a fan of pool volleyball but did not play this time as there waere about 10 people on each team and the pool very crowded. The rooms seem to need constant maintenance. Over the years we have had so many issues. Air conditioning units seem to be particularly temperamental and prone to flooding and other issues. Service could be a bit hit and miss. I had several issues with things being dropped on me or things being knocked over on tables by the waiting team. I a sure this is down to new staff, but the supervision seemed lacking. Having said that, there were members of staff that we recognised and recognised us that are stalwarts of the resort and a credit to bodyholiday. The feedback form they expect you to fill in is ridiculous and I am afraid that unless that can be streamlined considerably, it will remain empty with feedback provided publicly. We are reconsidering going back. And we have been over 7 times. We will keep our next booked stay but that may well be our last.
