    Nice quiet place

    If you want a quiet time in Mexico this place works. Got the studio with balcony over the ocean and a big frig. Staff was great including the front desk lady who turned down loud lobby music earlier in the morning and Pedro who found a saved mu I pad which I had left on deck. Town very friendly with shops and restaurants all the way to the Malecon. Note the waves every day were 3-7 feet so the waves could give you a bating.

    Location good but hotel was average at best.

    I would have given a lower rating but I have given the hotel an average rating to recognize that the waitstaff in the bar and restaurant were good. Jasmine and the bartender were helpful, friendly and efficient. The administrative staff was average and not all that helpful. The view in our room was very pretty and that was why we booked in the first place and the location was good for walking. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the rest of the hotel. The hotel itself was tired — although some of the rooms were updated, the one we stayed in was in need of updating. What was supposed to be a couch looked more like a college dorm room sofa with suede seats and leather back. It was not at all comfortable or inviting. It honestly didn’t even feel clean. The ledge in the kitchenette had dead bugs on it. Towels were old, some were gray and the sheets were old and pilled. I had to ask for hangers (there were only 2 in the room) and a hair dryer. One of the few good things was the water pressure in the shower. It was good. There were no screens on the doors to the patio. When we asked if they had screens they said they would check, but they never got back with us even after we checked with them a 2nd time. The pool area was ok. We left 3 days early and stayed at another hotel. I would not stay at this place again.

    Not bad for the price.

    Great location right on the beach. Let us check in a little early. Service was good. Room decent. Would definitely go back. Nice little hood to walk around. Some decent restaurants and bars. Get an ocean view room.

    Nice Boutique Hotel

    This is a very nice and clean boutique hotel in a prime location in Barra de Navidad. The rooms are very clean and they were cleaned daily with fresh towels. We had breakfast at the hotel a few times and everything was really good. Great bar service with amazing beach views. I recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

    Still our favourite place ♥️

    This is the second year we have come to Hotel Bogavante and we plan on coming back next year and many more years after that. It's got amazing views, the rooms are very nice, beds are very comfortable and the restaurant downstairs is great. Highly recommend!
