Excellent resort for an easy, relaxing trip to St. Thomas!
My partner and I spent a week here in January 2026 and got the all-inclusive package. We had a great experience here and would definitely come back. Atmosphere: The resort had a very relaxing vibe. There seemed to be a mix of couples, friend groups, and families. One of the restaurants had some live entertainment and different things going on at night (like karaoke) which added some excitement. Food: We had most of our meals at the resort and we enjoyed them. There were sufficient options/variety and the food was fresh. We aren’t foodies, so specific foods were not a priority for our trip. Our priority was convenience, and between the two resort restaurants, it was definitely convenient! Keep in mind that things in St. Thomas run on island time, and that applies to the restaurants, as well. So while service was a little slower than in the mainland, we were still well attended to and never waited too long for service. Room: The rooms are on the smaller end, but that was perfect for us. We weren’t spending much time in the room anyways. We got an ocean view room which had a private balcony overseeing the beach. The showers are very small (standing showers, no tub) but we made do! Activities: The beach activities available were great. It was easy to get towels and snorkel gear. We were able to snorkel right at the resort’s beach. We usually didn’t have a problem finding available beach chairs. Be prepared for some rocks. It’s a mostly sandy beach, but there’s a section that’s rocky. We brought water shoes in anticipation of that and they worked well. The pool was also nice for a more relaxing swim. Staff: I can’t speak highly enough of the resort staff! Everyone was welcoming, kind, and helpful. Checking in/out was really easy. Someone gave us a quick tour when we arrived. Any questions we had were promptly answered. The housekeeping staff were wonderful and did an excellent job keeping the room clean. She even noticed my partner and I don’t share bedsheets and made the bed with one on each side. We found that really thoughtful, and it made our lives easier! Excursions: We did the Heavenly Days sea turtle excursion and it was really fun! We had plenty of time to snorkel (a little over an hour). We saw lots of turtles and other cool sea creatures. The crew was great too! Misc: There is an ATM on-site which was very convenient (be prepared to have cash for taxis, especially on St. John). The gift shop had both souvenirs and traveling basics. Parking was super easy (for those renting a car). It is not within walking distance to anything besides what’s on the resort, so be prepared to drive or take taxis to explore other parts of the island. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely go back!

Mixed Bag of Good and Mediocre
3.5 stars for the staff’s service and helpfulness. 5 stars for attitude. This is a three star pool and beach scene, with no pool side or beach food or drink service. The food is inconsistent. Breakfast was generally very good and had lots of options. The lunch menus lacks hot entrees and is unimaginative. Basically a lot of sandwiches (cold) and pizzas, plus sides and 3 sad salads. The dinner menus had options but is just solid. The bar is solid with heavy pours and fun drinks. Serious cocktails aren’t in the cards for you. Special shout out for “007”, who was great behind the pool bar. The location is great, situated in a beautiful bay and a short drive to two popular off-resort destinations. The resort is well manicured, and Iggy’s is contemporary because it just reopened. The live music there at night was generally good. The main pool/dining area needs a facelift and better lighting. It is worn down. Very subdued pool scene. The guests were mostly families from the US. Very few couples. As a result, the vibe is very family oriented. The Heavenly Days excursions were lots of fun and worth the money; especially the snorkeling. The real disappointment was our room, which badly needs to escape the late-80s/early 90s. The mattress was uncomfortable and springy. The air conditioning is loud and the walls are very thin. We could hear EVERYTHING our neighbors were doing. While the bathroom had lots of counter space, the shower was a disaster. It was the size of a linen closet (about three feet wide) and looked like a prison shower. Truly shameful.
