  Unbelievable Ocean Views, Outstanding Hospitality, and an Exceptional Overall Experience

  The property was absolutely beautiful, with staff present everywhere at all times, so assistance was always quick whenever we needed anything. The room was incredible—especially the rainfall shower—and we absolutely loved the hot tub on the balcony. The privacy of the room was excellent, and the amenities were very well thought out. One standout feature was the small cubby next to the door for returning food—such a clever idea that I’ve never seen before and honestly should be standard everywhere. Our experience with the staff was exceptional from start to finish. At the Xhale Lounge, Joshua helped us check in and was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions. Hugo escorted us to our room and took the time to explain where everything was and how it worked. Our room attendant, Karen, was sweet as can be and did a wonderful job keeping our room spotless. Margarita helped me learn about the boat tour options to Isla Mujeres directly from the resort, which ended up being one of our favorite parts of the entire trip. Truly, every single employee we interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly hospitable. We really enjoyed the Xhale Lounge, where higher-end beverages and hot and cold snacks were readily available exclusively for Xhale guests. The rooftop Xhale pool felt both exclusive and relaxing, and the staff on the pool deck were extremely attentive—always making sure we had drinks, towels, and anything else we needed. One of the highlights of our stay was the boat tour to Isla Mujeres with Alfredo and his crew. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The staff were fun and attentive, always making sure everyone was taken care of, while also doing a great job explaining the boat’s safety procedures and the itinerary for the day. We always felt well-informed, and everything ran smoothly and punctually. Saturday night brought an unexpected and fun surprise when we went downstairs to find live DJs playing both inside and outside the nightclub. The dance floor was full of people enjoying themselves, others were grabbing drinks at the bar, and there was even a street performer on stilts wearing a wild, light-up neon costume interacting with the crowd. It was such a cool and memorable experience. The Super Bowl party was another standout moment. The variety of food options was fantastic, the huge TV screens were amazing, and we had great views from almost everywhere—including our room’s balcony. The night ended with an incredible fireworks show launched from the beach when the game ended, which was the perfect finale. Dining was a mixed experience, but overall enjoyable. While the beef carpaccio wasn’t as fresh as hoped, the soup was unfortunately cold, and the bread was a bit stale, the bolognese lasagne was delicious and the cannoli for dessert was also very tasty. Overall, this was an unforgettable stay with outstanding service, thoughtful amenities, and so many unique experiences. We truly had an amazing time and would absolutely return.

  Lack of follow thru from Manager/Concierge

  The resort is nice, the food is good, as well as the service. Although I did not like the extra charges required for some of the amenities. The entrance to the resort is a let down. My complaint? We had NO water in our room for almost 24 hours. We did not get notice of the problem, or an offer for help. Only till we called the front desk were we informed of the problem. The only offer was that if we wanted to be put on a wait list for a shower they would call un - no phone call. When we went down the next day and asked what was going on with the water, we were told it should be fixed later today. I asked for compensation - was given a possible manager to talk to. After discussion he offered hyatt points and we filled out paperwork for this. I have been given the run around since then. Several e-mails, three phone calls, one month has passed - NOTHING!! I'd say their customer service stinks, and their word is worthless. I won't be going back.

  If you want to sleep…GOOD LUCK

  If you are looking to PARTY this is your place. Staying in the Xcelerate building, we were right next to the main pool so at night when we wanted to go to bed early, we couldn’t until the party and music stopped. The food was the best from all the resorts I’ve tried though.

  Fun but very noisy , not enough care for private holidays , seemed it was for conferences.

  Very clean and modern hotel , noise levels very high though … take ear plugs. Amazing food and great restaurant staff. Be prepared that they may shut the fun pool on the roof for a private party, which is disappointing, happened twice in our holiday. When it was open it was great fun.

  Good with some room to improve

  The resort is exactly what I rated it, "good". If you are looking for great food and great service from the staff that rating is actually great! Everyone in our group agreed that while we were there the food was good and very good at the specialty restaurants with the exemption of the Mexican one, that one was lacking on food quality but the service remained top notch. What brings the rating down for us was the lack of private beach and the beach itself is small. There is no snorkeling on site and the pool is not really protected from the wind. Also while the bartenders are all great on tending to you, several lack in drink knowledge and how to make drinks. We also thought the drinks were were "okay", and have had better drinks at other resorts as several of ours this time seemed watered down and / or the soda pop was watered down thus taking away the flavor. If you end up with a windy day on beach, it's windy at the pool just slightly less. The pool is nice and offers your typical swim up bar, loungers and activities but there is little to no protection by the pool from the wind. This was a little disappointment as several of the previous resorts we have stayed typically will have some areas of the pool that offer more protection. "If" it's not windy, then you have nothing to worry about. The roof top pools are very cool but one of them is only for the Exhale upgrade which do not purchase ahead of time because you can negotiate the price once you arrive and yes it will be cheaper. The other roof top pool is nice and offers a swim up bar and a grill to eat at, but get there early to get a lounger otherwise you will not have one.
