Rooms are very clean and pretty, tho the woodwork is showing humidity damage. Our room on the 4th floor was very quiet. We had to call for our bath towels every time our room was serviced. We loved the food although the specialty restaurants have limited options (we don’t eat red meat). Some of the entertainment was high school quality, but still enjoyable. The views, beach, and pool are fantastic. My snorkeling experience was the highlight. Tipping will definitely improve your experience. Our expectations were high as this is billed as 5 star and we were upgraded.

As a whole... am planning to return next year
Although I felt that the hotel was in need of reparative needs, the staff were amazing. I do not have enough characters to explain everything but Teresa and Jeovan were definitely at the top of our list, super attentive without being invasive...As a matter of fact we looked forward to running into them. We would also like to mention, Theo, Tania/Tequila, Reikha, Noble, Kai, Alistair, Sabrina and I forget the name of the pregnant lady at the swim up bar ( I think Nadine) ..absolutely wonderful service from all. A dampener was the reception team that, as polite as they were failed to communicate anything to relevant teams that we requested, whether it be fixing a phone, towels, breakfast service or mini bar top up. We had full access to Secrets, but would like to say, we preferred Breathless by far!!!

Breathless Resort
Kevin was a great bellman that always made sure we were satisfied. Tequila was the BEST entertainer at the hotel. Briann checked us in and we immediately felt welcomed to the resort. All staff was very much friendly and respectful. 10/10 experience!

May 20, 2025Disappointing
We were very disappointed with our recent stay, as a number of issues made it difficult for us to enjoy our vacation. We had specifically chosen a swim-up room expecting a relaxing and comfortable experience, but unfortunately, that was not the case. First, the room’s lighting system was frustrating to use. None of the light switches were backlit, making them hard to see at night. The primary switch by the door didn’t work to turn on all the lights, but oddly, pressing the bathroom light would turn on every light in the room. The lights would also randomly shut off when we left and re-entered the room. Additionally, the switches were placed at different height levels, which felt inconsistent and poorly designed. On top of that, during the first few nights, the bathroom light would turn on automatically and disturb our sleep. We reported this to maintenance, and we believe it was eventually resolved. The air conditioning unit also caused problems. It would shut off on its own even in manual mode, and when it was off for more than 15 minutes, it emitted a foul smell—almost like mildew or a dusty filter. This made the air in the room feel unpleasant. The curtain design was another inconvenience: they only opened on the side opposite the sliding door entrance, requiring us to pull the entire curtain aside just to step outside. There were also physical safety and comfort issues. The overhead lamps by the nightstands were positioned too low, causing us to frequently bump our heads—this became very annoying. The door to access the refrigerator was broken, making it difficult to reach inside. Additionally, we realized by the third day that the sliding door to our patio could not be locked due to a faulty latch. Thankfully, maintenance came and fixed it after we reported the issue. We were under the impression that our stay would include service from two butlers, but for most of the time, only one was available. The other appeared to be consistently on vacation or unavailable. Lastly, our swim-up pool experience was disappointing. One of the pool chairs was stained, and the water did not look clean enough to swim in. We also noticed housekeeping staff from the floors above rinsing rags over their balconies, with the dirty water dripping into the pool below. These issues significantly impacted our experience, and we left feeling frustrated rather than refreshed. We hope management addresses these concerns to improve the experience for future guests. We reported these concerns to resort management, but no one offered us a credit, refund, or any form of compensation for the inconvenience.

More than imagined
The beauty of the land, resort, and people were well represented at Breathless. The staff went above and beyond expectations. You're made to feel like family. Food is amazing and the breadth of the facilities ensured something to do whenever desired. We will absolutely be going again and are currently planning...
