The experience was a fairly good one. The room is clean and comfortable. The on site restaurant was convenient and also the breakfast included in the package was definitely a plus. The food was delicious. There is no elevator and no one to help you with your bags. So prepare for that

Great experience for a good price!
Want to avoid the resort chaos and huge numbers of tourists? This is the real island style, boutique bungalow, laid-back life. I loved the free breakfast cafe, and the building ambience, loved the poolside happy hour, the restaurant chef is spot on (that lemon pepper shrimp!), and my room was spacious, cool and clean. Sure the a/c buzzes, fridge freezes, and the plumbing is a little old but that shouldn't matter here in paradise. The bigger picture is that it's a peaceful, tidy, friendly choice for a good price and relaxing experience. (Tip: Get the room with a balcony: the view, the birds and the breeze had me imagining life here in the 1800s.

I don't know why people are complaining about Bunker Hill. It's an awesome place. It's clean. Neat! People are super nice. It's very close to all the activity in frenchtown and it's got a really good local vibe. If you want to stay at the Marriott then go there. If you want a little taste of Charlotte Emily stay at Bunker Hill, you'll be happy

May 29, 2026This property needs a lot of TLC.
Unfortunately this property is in need of a lot of repairs. The pictures are misleading! The shower dripped all night, the doors were stripped, cracked and warped. There were cracked and missing tiles throughout. The bed sagged about 10 inches and the pillows were beyond pathetic. The front office staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed a taxi. We only stayed one night. Not worth the money.

May 01, 2026Nothing Fancy - Just okay
This was a last minute booking because my flight was delayed and I needed to overnight to get the morning Ferry. The Checkin was easy and the young lady checking me in was very nice. You receive a key fob for your room. Note that there are no elevators here and you will need to walk up stairs! I was on the 3rd floor, so it was a long walk up multiple sets of stairs with heavy luggage and I had to walk them back down. The stairs are narrow. There is a small pool. I wasn’t there long enough to use it, but it looked nice. The room is below average for the price! The AC was nice and cool upon my arrival, however, the room smelled like a dirty bathroom. I believe it was the filter on the AC unit. I managed. There was a tv but I couldn’t access the cable on it. It was a smart tv. WiFi worked well. Beds were old and hard. They give you free breakfast, but I did not partake. It is two blocks from the waterfront, but not close to any grocery stores. Had to buy drinks from the lobby. This was a very last minute decision. Wouldn’t be my go to. Especially having to carry my suitcases and the outdated rooms. I think the price is a little more then what they should be charging, but it is what it is. Choose wisely.
