  As close to Nirvana as possible!

  How to describe a week of near perfection? If you want a laid back stay with wonderful views, excellent cuisine, superb staff and great weather you just can't go wrong with Cap Maison. We stayed in a 1 bedroom pool/terrace suite and loved it. Apparently, the same room where they filmed the Batchelor. Our room included the helicopter transfer and a private driver upon leaving the resort. Both were excellent. We indulged in the private wine pairing dinner with Robbie, dinner at the Rock at Cap with Darrell and 2 couples massages. We had the privilege of chatting with Chef Craig Jones and enjoyed meeting Ross Stevenson the GM. We went to Rodney Bay for dinner one night and Charlie was our driver. When he picked us up he suggested that we might enjoy the Jump Up party in Gros Islet while he waited for the other guests to return to Cap Maison. We are so glad he did! We were there just long enough to experience the party and enjoy a few Pitons! Perfect amount of time. I have high expectations and Cap Maison delivered and more. We had a truly memorable stay. We went to St. Lucia for the views, great weather and unique offerings. We will return because of the people. The staff at Cap Maison are exceptional. Every single person. A few standouts, Robbie, the wine guru for our cellar dinner, Julian for his wonderful massages and assistance, Roger at the Cliff Bar, Dahlia who provided wonderful service at the Cliff and Stacey. She has the best smile and I wish we could bottle her charm and enthusiasm. Special thanks to Ross Stevenson. One can always tell when the staff are not happy; from our perspective he leads a special staff that are very proud of Cap Maison and it shows.

  Beautiful boutique resort with wonderful staff and great food!

  We had a fantastic stay at Cap Maison, a beautiful boutique hotel with wonderful, friendly staff. We took the helicopter transfer from the airport and were glad we did - it was much faster and helped avoid carsickness on those windy mountain roads! We opted for the all-inclusive package and, feeding a 22 year old and 18 year old, we're glad we did - it was well worth the price. The food was excellent at both restaurants! Breakfast and lunch each day at The Cliffs was a delight. The coffee was wonderful and there was a good selection of breakfast items for every palate. They had fresh baked pastries that would change daily. Definitely get the banana beignet dessert on the lunch menu! Highly recommend the Caesar salad with shrimp or chicken as well. They were always happy to make accommodations for my somewhat picky eater. After 9 days, we did wish there was an additional restaurant option, as we had exhausted most of both menus, LOL. Stand out employees in The Cliffs restaurant included Deanna, Porsha, and Valine. McKinney and Roger provided great service pool-side. Krismet was such a talented bartender! We're not cat people, but we loved seeing the kittens around the restaurant and *may* have fed them scraps from our plates each day. The food at the Naked Fisherman was also great - worth every step of the 92 steps down and back up to get there! It's a more casual vibe but food was fantastic with very large portions - more than we could finish most nights. Make sure to make reservations with the concierge, as this restaurant is open to the public (they might both be, but this one was generally the more crowded of the two). The spa was small but wonderful! I had Julien, the spa manager, for 2 amazing massages. Lisa was also fabulous, according to my family. Sassy, the concierge, coordinated all of our spa appointments via email before we arrived and referred us to Eastern Caribbean Diving for scuba - their service was also top notch. July is the beginning of the off-season and rainy season, so the resort wasn't overly crowded. We never saw more than a dozen people around the pool - no fighting for pool chairs like at the mega resorts! We did have some mosquito bites (note: don't sit near the railing at The Cliffs restaurant - that's where we got bit the worst) but the resort had little bottles of repellant and after bite spray you could use. We opted for a 2 bedroom Spanish courtyard villa. The bedrooms had very strong AC, but no AC in the kitchen/living/dining area, just FYI. It wasn't a big issue for us as there was almost always a nice breeze blowing through the plantation shutters, which do have screens on them to keep the bugs out. Our housekeepers' names escape me, but they kept our villa spotless. One night, having left tip money on the bed for turndown service, one of the ladies told our kids she wouldn't accept the money unless it was accompanied by a note so that she could make certain it was for her - such honesty! There was a lot of noise from a nearby resort (Royalton?) but it didn't bother us. Cap Maison was nice and quiet. We were not looking for a party scene, so it was perfect for us. There was too much seaweed on the beach for us to be able to enjoy it, but we're happy lounging at the pool so it wasn't an issue. We were told the seaweed does subside in other months. Overall, we had a wonderful visit and would definitely return!

  A top quality Hotel, We loved it!

  A Lovely Hotel, we had an Oceanview Suite with Pool + Roof Terrace our room was very large & great accommodation, with a private pool (it is the only way to go!!) Our adult children and their partners shared a 2 Bedroom Oceanview Villa with Pool. We relaxed, they made the most of everything there is to do! My opinion is that the ground based pools are generally a bit bigger than the roof top ones. The hotel has 2 very good, high quality, restaurants, great service, great food. (If you have dietary requirements they can get a little repetitive after 2 weeks as the menus don't change) Lovely sandy beach, which can have a bit of a seaweed problem, but they are brilliant and quick at sorting it out when it happens after a storm. If you can, make sure to do the private dining in the wine cellar! Lovely, Friendly staff throughout the hotel. This hotel is right at the top of the island (couldn't be further from the airport) so take a helicopter transfer if you can (Great views of the rain forest on the journey) The cost of taxis booked through the hotel for trips out is out of control, Uber is advised. Pigeon Island is very close and a great place to visit, lots of places to eat and a great experience to the peak, very historic. A day in Castries is a must. Horse riding was great ("sandy hoofs" arrange locally) All in all, a great, high quality, hotel.

  The Perfect Honeymoon Escape

  We stayed at Cap Maison for our honeymoon, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff made us feel so welcome. A special mention to Kevin on reception, who was always so friendly and helpful. The hotel made our honeymoon feel extra special with a bottle of champagne in our room on arrival, and every evening the housekeeping team left fresh flowers and a poem during turndown service. Our room was spotless throughout, and the sea views were absolutely stunning. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and we loved relaxing on the beach, where there were always sunbeds available and staff regularly brought around iced water. We also enjoyed using the complimentary kayaks. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and we had fantastic meals at both The Cliff and The Naked Fisherman. As someone who is lactose intolerant, I really appreciated how accommodating and knowledgeable the staff were. What really makes Cap Maison special is the attention to detail and the genuinely caring staff. We made so many wonderful memories here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. We’d return in a heartbeat!

  A lovely time

  Another wonderful stay. Villa 36 was kept very clean by Constance and her colleagues. Service at the Naked Fisherman and The Cliff excellent. The three kittens were sweet and very entertaining. I enjoyed my sail with Ezra who took great care to ensure I had a great time. Having got a little fitter since my last visit the 93 steps to the beach were easier this time but that bench halfway up still beckons one to rest. I felt a great sense of achievement when I ignored it! Too many great staff to mention all here, but thanks to Sherol for the mangoes (they made it back safely) and to Valine for making me laugh every morning at breakfast. . Porsha too. Lisa at the Spa is a truly caring soul and gives a lovely massage. We had room service for the first time . Unlike other resorts, this one informs you of likely time of arrival for order and also calls when it is about to arrive. We ate outside and were served by Roger, a lovely man who has been with the resort from the start. We had a lovely meal - served hot - and I was impressed that the plates etc were quickly cleared away afterwards. The price was reasonable for a Relais Chateaux resort. I would do this again. McKinney and Roger served us drinks by the Courtyard pool a few times. Again great service. After the first time one of them would magically appear at just the right time of the afternoon when we were usually in the pool! Thanks again to Ross and all the staff for a very well-run resort. It takes a team and it shows. We hope to return next year - budget permitting!
