  Foi, sem dúvida, o pior lugar em que já me hospedei. Os quartos são úmidos, sujos, com cheiro desagradável e muito abaixo do que é apresentado. A área da piscina também estava mal cuidada, com estrutura danificada e sujeira. A localização e os arredores me passaram uma sensação de insegurança, e definitivamente não me senti confortável no local. Mas, além das condições do hotel, o pior foi o atendimento. Estou há dias tentando contato para resolver a situação e simplesmente ninguém responde. Fiquei menos de duas horas no hotel e precisei procurar outro lugar para me hospedar. Até hoje, sigo sem uma solução ou retorno sobre o reembolso. Experiência péssima do início ao fim. Não recomendo.

  An absolutely terrible and unacceptable experience. The place was dirty, deteriorated, and completely different from what was expected. There were beer cans floating in the pool, and the ladder was rusty, loose, and apparently about to fall off, which even poses a risk to guests. The room had a strong smell of dampness and mold, making it impossible to stay there comfortably. Furthermore, the location is terrible: it is very far from the main attractions and tourist areas of Cartagena. The service is also not prepared to receive international guests. There was no adequate support in English and communication with the team was extremely difficult. I had booked a seven-day stay, but, due to all these conditions, I was only able to remain at the place for approximately one hour. Despite this, the establishment refuses to cooperate and does not even consider returning a portion of the money paid. I am still waiting for and demanding my refund. Charging for a stay that could not be used due to the terrible conditions of the establishment is completely unfair and irresponsible. It was, without any doubt, one of the worst accommodation experiences I have had. I do not recommend it at all. An absolutely terrible and unacceptable experience. The room had a strong damp and moldy smell, making it impossible to stay there comfortably. The location is also extremely inconvenient, far away from Cartagena’s main attractions and tourist areas. The staff was not prepared to assist international guests. There was no adequate English-speaking support, and communicating with the team was extremely difficult. I had booked a seven-day stay, but because of these unacceptable conditions, I remained at the property for only about one hour. Even so, the property refuses to cooperate and will not even consider providing a partial refund. I am still waiting for and demanding my refund. Charging a guest for a stay that could not be used because of the property’s terrible conditions is completely unfair and irresponsible. This was, without question, one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

  Cockroaches

  Infestation of cockroaches in the rooms! The refund that was promised to me never arrived!

  Bad experience

  Far away from the tourist area, it has no hot water, I slept in fear that an insect would come out in bed, bad attitude of the employees.

  A Good Stay

  About the area: Hotel Cartagena DC is about a half an hour away from the Historical Centre but it's still in an area where you can shop. That was very good for us. There are two Exitos closeby, a KFC is next door and transportation is easily accesible. The staff worked hard and breakfast was always ready on time. The rooms are adequate and they have a pool you can cool off in on the hot days. Not a bad stay at all. Good price too.
