The location is excellent. Despite of is in the center of the night life of the touristic zone, the hotel is very quiet and confortable, ideal to rest. The infrastructure is really beautiful, detailed and in excellent conditions. The rooms are equiped with all the services that you can need to assure your good experience I'm terms of the food, the quality is high. All the preparations are really delicious, and the service functions really good. We'd stay there 9 magical nights, with the option of launch or dinner (of course that with a delicious breakfast). Totally recomendable.

Hidden Gem in Downtown Cartagena
I was looking for a romantic destination to take my wife and decided on a 4-day getaway to Cartagena, Colombia. We chose Hotel Casa Del Gobernador and were very impressed. It was beautiful and immaculate. We arrived a bit early on the first day and were welcomed with refreshing fruit drinks and a complimentary lunch. Edgar, who is bilingual (Spanish / English) went out of his way to meet our every need and helped us get settled and assisted us with information regarding activities in town, how to get around, safety advice, etc. We had hoped to attend a cooking class in Cartagena , however everything was booked. Edgar arranged for the hotel chef ‘Isaac’ to give us an impromptu lesson on cooking confectionery treats! Edgar arranged transportation service for us to the airport or anywhere we wanted to visit. The room had an automatic espresso machine with delicious coffee pods and cookies. We had huge breakfasts with amazing local fresh fruit. The entire staff was friendly and helpful and made for a very pleasant stay. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone traveling there.

Terrible experience.. breakfast with limited options. Our room was near to the kitchen at the staff arrive at 4 am., talking loudly, laughing and setting out clutery and plates.

Must Stay!
Loved this place. right in the center of town, very nicely done on the inside, super cute. The breakfast was delicious, the pool was perfect for cooling down in the afternoon and we would come back!

Great boutique hotel
From the moment you arrive you can tell why going to a boutique hotel makes a difference! As a welcome drink and warm hand towels is what’s provided. The hotel is 12 rooms with two bars one rooftop and one downstairs. The rooms are big and spacious. Our room was completely quiet being in the middle of town in which you can expect noise outside but we never heard a thing. Hotel staff is very accommodating, Jean Pierre was our bartender and was very informative with places to eat and drink around town. Breakfast was including in which I have to say each day we looked up to that part of the morning as we got handed fruits and breads with different flavors. This is a great hotel in the heart of the town and I would come back here in a heartbeat.
