Renovated rooms and pool at Casa del Sol! The swimming pool is beautiful, there will soon be a beautiful garden next to it, which currently still needs to be tidied up. Casa del Sol is in a convenient location for the beaches (two can be reached on foot in a few minutes), for the shops (it is behind a shopping centre), and the Crucecita can be reached with a comfortable 10-minute walk

Lovely spa day
We went for the full master package. It started with a detox steam bath, then an exfoliating rub, some time to meditate and ending in an hour long massage. Overall a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Non consideratelo un hotel, ma un ottimo affittecamere
Ottimamamente situato (5 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia di Chauhe, 10 dal centro di Crucecita, alle spalle di un grande supermercato supereconomico), Casa del Sol è da considerarsi un ottimo posto per affittare una camera o un appartamento. Ampie camere con angolo cottura ben attrezzato, arredamento piacevole, pulizia giornaliera,nuovo e pulito: cosa chiedere di più? Lo consiglio vivamente!

When we booked at Hotels.com, Casa del Sol was displayed as an Hotel. Actually it is just a room rent with no additional services. When we arrived no one was there to receive us. After a while the owner shows off and he displays an extremely small room with no wifi connection (the website says wifi in the room) while we were expecting a totally different accommodation for the high price we were paying. Just a con! We were ready to leave, and he offered a much bigger and nicer room equipped with a small kitchen. Pretty useless with no kettle nor stove, we couldn't have even a coffee. In the bathroom we didn't have hot water and the small fridge was very noisy. No credit cards accepted. A part of that, the AC and internet in that room worked well and we had a balcony. A big supermarket is nearby and a nice beach is 10 minutes walking distance. We recommend that area but you find better accommodations with lower prices.

Totally unsatisfactory
We had booked two weeks in a junior suite here, mainly due to availability of a kitchenette and fridge. The advertised amenities here were quite misrepresented, with no furniture apart from a bed and a non-functional fridge. The room appeared clean, but we felt we could not stay two weeks in such a Spartan room, so we found close-by accommodation offering much, much better amenities (at a more attractive rate!). The area is quiet and convenient: 10 minute walk to Chahue beach, 2 minutes to a supermarket and a 15 minute walk to the town centre but this could not make up for the poor accommodations offered by Casa del Sol.
