It was such a nice hotel to stay at. The service was great, the hotel was super pretty and the views were nice. Lili, the housekeeper for the room was extremely kind and made some really cute birthday decorations for the room to surprise my boyfriend.

Amazing hospitality!
We spent our first 5 days in downtown Los Cabos (which is where I would recommend if you're more into adventuring), however, we spent 5 days at the JW in San Jose del Cabo and also had an amazing experience (for those into vacationing and relaxing). My favorite part of the stay was the staff who became family. Shoutout to all the guys in the lobby (and pool!) bar, Jesus, Jorge, Angel, Fernando, and the others (forgive me for not remembering all their names, lo siento!) This location has plenty of pools to enjoy, a serene beach area, and is a 10 min Uber drive to some amazing restaurants (Flora Farms and Acre are a not miss!). Oh, and the breakfast buffet is the best I've ever seen. Thank you!

Highly Recommend Avril for Weddings & Events at JW Marriott!
We had the pleasure of working with Avril for the past year while planning our Spring 2025 Cabo wedding, as our main room block and wedding welcome event were at the JW. Throughout the entire process, Avril was patient, responsive, accommodating, and willing to answer our (many) questions. She made these aspects of our wedding planning enjoyable and became a true friend. She also went above and beyond each time we visited - making sure we had a room with beautiful views and surprising us with thoughtful welcome gifts, including chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne. We would absolutely recommend working with her for any of your event needs at the JW. We can’t wait to see her again during our next Cabo visit!

Great stay overall for the excellent room, food, beverages, and service. This property was not rated 5 star due to the fact that they added extra charges after we had checked out ($171.00 for environmental fees and service charges according to their management). The extra charges were not disclosed at check in nor on our check out invoice - they just showed up on our credit card statement. We booked our stay through the American Airlines hotel booking service, whose booking indicated that their paid in advance invoice included all taxes and fees. Following receipt of our credit card statement with the additional $171.00 in charges, we contacted hotel management and recommended that any additional charges be disclosed at check in and check out, and that an updated check out invoice should be emailed if charges were added after check out. Hotel management did not respond to that recommendation. Disappointing for an otherwise very nice stay!

Great place for families and Adults
We had a great stay! This is the 2nd time we have visited with the first being 10 years ago. The service is excellent; warm, friendly and attentive. Gustavo and Christian at the breakfast buffet were great. So were Euardo and Felix at the family pool. Aurora at the gym was great for morning yoga. Alejandra at the concierge made sure we made great dining choices. Finally Jose and Anthony at Ua' were very attentive. The rooms were clean and airy. I'll note that while they are not tired quite yet and update will be needed in a couple of years. Our daughter is 15 so the kids activities supplied weren't needed. The adults only area was nice with a good swimup bar. The food is plus for a big resort so you can stay at the hotel for a very good meal. You can't go wrong at this property!
