Sergio who works in the dinning room provided excellent service while we were visiting. He has a very pleasant personality and provided us with excellent care. He always had our tea ready. Casa Mexicana is a Jewel in the heart of Cozumel
Centrally located in the heart of San Miguel, this hotel is our home when we visit Cozumel. Our favorite rooms are on the top floor ocean view. The pool is always a good place to hang out, the breakfast is one of the best in Cozumel. Cinthia always greets us with a smile and a cup of coffee! We see the same friendly staff year after year. The central square and all the shops are within walking distance as well as a million great places to eat!

Casa Mexicana is our favorite place in Cozumel
We love this place. Cinthia always remembers us and greets us every day. The breakfast is fantastic. The location is perfect. It’s why we come back year after year after year.

Highly recommend Casa Mexicana
We love our time spent at Casa Mexicana. Our room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is always very good. The staff is very friendly and we love that Sinthia always remembers us every year. She is friendly, helpful and makes you feel welcome.

The pictures give you impression that there is a beach there is no beach access at or near hotel. The pool was very cold; too cold for me to swim in even though hot outside. We booked two rooms with king beds; I don’t believe they even have king beds. We got doubles. The bartender argued with us about our “free” drinks to the point of harassment and embarrassment. We continuously asked for more than the 2 towels they put in room; we wanted a hand towel, face cloth, and a third towel for our hair, never got any of them. Our “view” was parking lot and run down buildings behind hotel and we are “gold star” members. Horrible. The man at check in was nice said we could get early check in when our room was ready which wasn’t until after 4. Only people who were great was the waiter, chef at breakfast and the gentleman that walked around cleaning lobby. Other than that go somewhere else. Nice to be close to downtown but with no beach access it was a wasted week
