Jun 30, 2025A hidden gem that feels like coming home
Hotel Casa Quero is one of those rare places that has true character and warmth. It’s quaint and charming, with so much personality that you feel like you’re staying in someone’s beautiful old home instead of just a hotel. What really made my stay special was the incredible staff — they felt like family by the time I left. Even though I don’t speak Spanish and most of the staff doesn’t speak English, the warmth and kindness bridged any language gap, from being greeted during the day by Monica and Ed managing the desk, and coming back each night, ringing the bell and seeing the same night guard felt comforting, like coming home. Breakfasts were a highlight — freshly made to order every morning by Anna, the head chef, who is an absolute delight. One of my favorite memories was arranging a special lunch cooking experience with her — we cooked together, laughed, and instantly became friends. If you’re looking for a hotel with charm, heart, and people who make you feel truly welcome, I can’t recommend Hotel Casa Quero enough. I can’t wait to come back.

So cute!!
I had been to Casa Quero several years ago and remembered it as the cutest little hotel. I went back last week with my husband and I simply loved it. The garden is beautifully kept and gives a sensation of peace. The rooms are nicely decorated and the bathrooms are so clean and pretty. All the staff was kind and helpful and Ena made delicious breakfasts for us. If you want a special place to stay in the old city of Cartagena, this is it.

Cool hotel with incredible staff
Casa Quero was excellent. The room was comfortable, there was a rooftop pool and the location was great. The people working at the hotel make it very special especially Arnoldo - he was very welcoming and took great care to make sure I had every I needed. The rest of the staff were great too

Best hotel in Colombia!
This hotel is a unique experience of a converted 17 th century home. It is so stylish and gracefully furnished with the most exquisite fabrics. The bedrooms are gorgeous and beds and linen superb. The staff are the friendliest we have met and so personal, the breakfast was delicious. I have stayed in luxury hotels which don’t come close to the service, style, and friendliness of this amazing hotel, located by all the best shops and restaurants. We want to live here permanently- alas life and work beckons. Do it! Stay her and have a fantastic experience 🇨🇴♥️🇨🇴♥️

Great experience
I spent 3 nights there, large room, very peaceful, great breakfast, great quality-price ratio compared to what is around which tends to be abusively expensive for what it is. Thank you Antonio for the great service, I would definitely be glad to come back!
