Jul 18, 2025Great pictures /miniature room
You know I tried to save my company some money with Airbnb. But apparently again I got misled. Just like the Airbnb in Alaska. This place has zero amenities. If you're not gay, you can't get a drink at the bar. The rooms are about 300 ft. So you're living in a shoe box. But definitely not recommend to anyone looking for a decent place to stay with a significant other.

Jul 11, 2025WORST UNIT IN THE WAIKIKI GRAND - 604
Like others who have reviewed VRBO, I too had a terrible experience! We were shown a nice unit (604) which we booked, but when we got there it was nothing like the pictures or the description. Within an hour we informed the front desk that we would be leaving first thing in the morning. It was late and we had been traveling all day and we were very tired. I went online and found/booked another hotel at 2:15am that night and sent an email to the hotel manager at 2:34am informing him of the problems and sent pictures. We got a partial refund and were charged for $250 for that first night but $242 was and still is missing from the billing. We spent time disputing it with the Credit Card Co. and VRBO and was told not shown that it was "Service Fee". DO NOT USE VRBO and CERTAINLY DO NOT RENT UNIT 604 OF THE WAIKIKI GRAND HOTEL.

This is a great location with on site parking. Yes it’s an older property but well maintained and clean! Friendly staff and close to restaurants, the beach, the zoo and more. Our unit was great. Everything we needed and the 10th floor lanai is awesome. Great views and a lovely place to enjoy your morning coffee! I’d stay again as the price was also reasonable.

Great Stay!
The view was incredible! We enjoyed the easy access & walkability and the friendly staff. It was convenient & close to the beach. We enjoyed the amenities like beach chairs, umbrella, & cooler too! We highly recommend for anyone looking for a great stay! We will be back!

Worth every penny!
Convenient, safe, accessible, central, clean, economical, fun, pleasant, and for being in the midst of everything it was incredibly quiet. All the conveniences of a resort, parking was a plus, and even though there were some remodeling going on the establishment created undisturbed hospitality.
