Nice resort, good restaurants, but the fact that we had to get up at sunrise to get chairs is unacceptable. It's not relaxing nor pleasant. The pool was freezing cold. Not enough chairs at the beach neither. It wasn't a pleasant experience and for that reason I will never go back.

Looking for a family vacation? Do yourself a favour and DON'T book here. 5 star resort, more like a 3 star on the best day. If you have small kids, this is not a kid friendly place to stay. Booked a privledged family suite, and was not even walked to our room or given any information at check in. So much for privledged upgrade, don't waste your money here. Sure the resort looks pretty but the service, the cleanliness and the kid options are less than ideal. We are used to staying at nice hotels and resorts and this tries to look the part but fails in every other category. The hotel is clearly understaffed and needs upkeep and renovations, the rooms are poorly cleaned if that, the kids area is so small, the pools are freezing cold, the food selection for kids is laughable unless you feed your kids jello for breakfast and dinner. The coffee shops don't open till 8 am but the bar is open in the lobby so you and all the other guests can line up to grab a coffee, no place to go when it's raining so everyone crammed in one area, the phone doesn't work in the room and on day 7 it still isn't fixed, the toilet runs all night, the patio is covered in animal feces, the washrooms are awfully located and to add majority do not have baby change area, resort layout is garbage. I can go on and on, you get the idea. Do yourself a favour and book at any other resort, thank me later.

Our server and staff were exceptional while the food was authentically delicious. The food presentation was unique while the serving’s were generous We look forward to returning prior to our departure. We highly recommend Tao Cat for its warmth And uniqueness.

Service overall
The service was amazing I feel welcomed and am very pleased with the service, on top of that the staff from here are very kind and friendly. If you need a place where you need to relax and be stress free I would definitely recommend coming here because I certainly am!

Fourth visit and we will return!
Fourth visit to this resort. It has matured beautifully over the past five years and offers more activities, shows and dining options each time we’ve visited. We enjoy the Exclusive Traveler Club privileges. Our butlers, Isauro Ramirez and Estefany took care of us, making dining recommendations and reservations, reserving chairs at the ETC beach, providing towels, and replenishing goodies to our rooms daily and upon request. We enjoyed their company as well. Nine days of pure relaxation. Looking forward to our next visit already.
