Beautifull Hotel with great wildlife walking freely in the grounds fabulous staff we really enjoyed our stay there was 4 adults travelled together we upgraded to Privlege when we booked and found it to be well worth it There was a great selection of food in the main dining room and The Beloved was great we went for a couple of breakfasts there and we took advantage of lovely lunches and there was a offer on for Lobster & Tomahawk steak the Wine & prosseco was free flowing and our special table had been laid out with flowers ect My husband and our freind had the Lobster and Her husband and I had the Tomahawk steaks it was sooooo tender we had starters and forced a sweet course down I cant remember the cost i think about $100 for the 4 of us very good would highly recommend the Beloved its part of the privlege package and seperate Beach area The Coffee shop have lovely cakes & coffee but most of all i loved the wildlife Monkeys...Coatis..Racoons and a lot more....I would highly recommend !!

Feb 01, 2026Very bad and disappointing experience. Very unfriendly and rude staff.
This was by far and away, the worst experience I have ever had at a Mexican Resort. We booked and requested 3 rooms, with Queen Beds that were Oceanview. Upon our arrival, they gave our rooms away and we were told we were getting 3 rooms with King Beds and a Gardenview. (we are adult women in our 60s!). The front desk staff were rude and uncaring and we had to wait until 3:00 pm the next day to get 3 rooms with Queen Beds. Not cool

Perfect hotel, very good food, staf very friendly, Ruben made our welcome very nice, very nice sandy beach with all that you need!

Expected More Based on Reviews
We stayed here only because our regular resort was closed for renovation. 2 stars only for the staff, who are kind, hardworking, and deserve tips. We had Privilege/VIP, and it was not clear what the benefits were—did not feel like an upgrade. Beach is pretty but has too much shade, so you must move sunbeds to get sun. Sunbeds are basic; Bali beds are shaded and impractical. Food was a big letdown: bland, lacking seasoning, long waits, and inconsistent quality. The Steakhouse was the best of the à la carte restaurants, but steak temperatures are off (order well done for medium-rare). Mexican restaurant was below average; hibachi nothing special. Lobby is dark and uncomfortable, bathrooms not clean. Only one smoking area near the lobby with no seating. Great staff, talented animation team—but overall the resort does not deliver on comfort or value.
