  Great stay in Kona

  Overall had a really great stay at the Club Wyndham Kona. The grounds were beautifully maintained and all the resort staff we interacted with were helpful and professional - very quick to respond to any requests and always friendly. No pressure when we said no to the timeshare pitch. We were on a lower level unit near the front of the resort by the smaller pool. There were people upstairs but noise was never an issue. We had a leak under the kitchen sink upon arrival and maintenance came and fixed it right away. They have a text number you can use for requests and ask questions. We loved the pool and that it was open 8am-10pm. Bed was comfortable and AC worked well. We didn't have an amazing view (lanai just faced the pool area) but it was fine as we weren't in the room that much other than to sleep. Never had an issue finding parking and the location was great just a few minutes south of the main downtown Kona area but nice and quiet.

  Beautiful grounds and rooms!

  We loved staying at Club Wyndham Kona. Our condo was beautiful, updated, and roomy! The living room looked out to a nice covered patio that had a comfy chaise lounge I fell asleep on. Be careful and make sure you wipe your counters down every time you make food because tiny ants will come. They had nice white quartz counters which made it easy to see. The pool area was lovely, there were two but we only used the lower one. There is a hot tub that has a sandy/pebbly bottom which was cool. They have scheduled events if you're interested in that but we were busy and missed most of them but they looked fun. The walk to town was about a mile so super easy to walk to and from shops/dining. I would DEFINITELY stay again!

  A great stay in Hawaiian paradise

  The resort was in great shape as was the unit we had. Our unit had an ocean view that my wife had requested and the location of the resort is wonderful. The staff was amazing in every way and I do not often say that about many places. several times I would head out to take recycling, etc. only to be stopped by a worker who took it for me. This place is a 11 out of 10 and we highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting a great experience with great help.

  Beautiful accommodations with excellent locaton!

  We stayed May 8 - 15 and had the best time. We had the 2BR 2BA on the ground floor and the condo was very well decorated, had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook, and great air conditioning. Club Wyndham is in an excellent location near downtown Kona. There are beaches close by you can walk to. We loved going to Magic Sands beach and the restaurant. Highly recommend, we will be back.

  Lovely resort but BEWARE!!

  We just returned from this lovely resort on our first visit to the Big Island. We came on a time share trade from our Maui resort, that we have had for over 25 years. We loved the Kona area on this out first visit to the big Island, were thrilled with the beautiful surroundings, lots of stores, restaurants, many snorkeling and surfing and swimming beaches within minutes from this resort. The resort was clean with lovely gardens, pools and very attentive staff. The 2 bedroom condo was very adequate with a wonderful Lanai with teak furniture and a view of the ocean, which was across the main Street of the area. There isn't a restaurant on site, but many close by. The only negative thing about this resort is the way they handled the one thing we always must experience when staying in a time-share resort...the SALES PITCH! We felt unbelievable pressure...to get extra keys they basically kidnapped and held us hostage for 2 1/2 hrs, when they finally said we were "released"! I can only compare this experience to being arrested and interrogated by police. We have owned our time share in Maui for over 25 years and have always been asked to attend a sales meeting, but when we declined politely, we were not bothered, but this experience was horrible and has ruined our desire to ever stay here again. We will return to the Big Island but would never stay here!!
