Dec 28, 2025Our "Forever Resort": Stunning views, incredible staff, and chill vibes
Absolutely perfect. We booked a beachfront pool cottage and stayed in #48. It was superb! Direct, private access to Valley Church beach. We spent most of our days on our deck and in our giant pool. The views from our deck were simply stunning, and being right on the beach was awesome. The outdoor showers were incredible! I could shower while looking out at the beautiful blue water. Finding chairs on the beach - not a problem, no matter the time of day. It was also nice to see security on the beach. Kris the manager was so charming and welcoming. He checked in with us a few times throughout our stay, and that was a really cool touch. All staff were so friendly and genuine. Everyone said hello and greeted us with smiles. Entry into the ocean on Valley Church beach is easy. There is a gradual slope and then a step down, but no sharp dropoff. Easy entry and exit. Easy swimming with a beautiful resort view. Food was amazing with breakfast being my highlight each day. The smoothie and juice of the day were refreshing and delicious! When you see that little basket of pastries in the morning, don't skip it! Plenty of choices at each meal, but not too many choices. I appreciated the smaller menu as it kept ordering easy. BBQ night was cool and the special Christmas dinner was great. Hills around the resort are no joke and are a decent little workout if you don't take the long way around the back side of the resort. It was fun exploring all the nooks and crannies along the walkways. Gorgeous flowers, shrubs, and very pretty landscaping adorn every path. Bug spray is provided, and I highly recommend using it if you are prone to mosquito bites. I ended up with several bites, but I expected it and brought extra spray and some steroid cream that my doctor prescribed beforehand since mosquito bites tend to welt up on me. It's a warm climate, so obviously there are going to be skeeters. No biggie - goes with the territory. The super casual atmosphere and relaxed dress code are very refreshing. We are blue collar workers who love to take awesome vacations, and dressing up just isn't our thing. I love that we can wear tshirts to dinner and be treated with the same respect as someone in elegant clothing. That means a lot to me, and it speaks to how incredibly warm and kind every staff member is, no judgement, just good vibes all around. I love the vibe here and we will absolutely return, and our return trip is already booked. We have found what we've been searching for and this is our "forever resort". From the kind staff, excellent meals, gorgeous views, relaxed dress code, chill vibes, and cats, I cannot think of a better resort. We truly felt welcomed and every staff member did their best to ensure our experience was top notch. Thank you all for making for a truly wonderful vacation.

Lovely stay at this warm and wonderful hotel!
We had the best time ever at this lovely hotel that describes itself as a ‘rustic gem’. All the staff were divine and the hotel was gorgeous. Thank you so much for the generosity and kindness of all the team from Victoria and Sam

Brilliant experience - never went thirsty
It was our first visit to Antigua and Cocos. We had a brilliant time, the food, location, service and accommodation were all top notch. Above all, the staff at the hotel were superb particularly (in no particular order) : Shana, Anizia, Francine, Stephen, Kerry-Anne, Phylicia, Hazel and Chris. Please can the Management of the hotel pass this review on to the staff members mentioned. Sent by a beer and a Pina Colada/Sparkling wine (Green bottle). Hopefully you'll remember who we are.

The relaxation we needed
Just spent a relaxing few days (not enough!) at cocos. Everything was what I expected as their website is accurate. Loved the privacy of the individual cottages, the outdoor shower, the super comfortable bed, and the gorgeous deck with the sunset views. There was a rotating menu and we never ate the same thing twice. There was some entertainment in the evening and we enjoyed some of it but skipped out early several nights because we didn’t care for the music. The ocean water temperature was cooler than I prefer. Beware it is hilly and many steps but the website is very clear about that. I booked a plunge pool cottage that I would have enjoyed a lot more had it been heated. It was simply too cold to use in the evening. All in all a very unique place!

A wonderful and romantic week with my fiance 💖
Such a lovely vacation! We just spent a week at Cocos for our engagement moon. It met all our expectations and exceeded a lot. We stayed in the sunset cottage with a plunge pool - it’s hard to put into words to describe the view! Definitely recommend. Pros: the room is rustic but elegant. It is minimalist but clean and comfortable and has everything you need. We didn’t mind not having a TV. I brought my laptop just in case and we ended up watching a movie one night when we went to bed early. This is a very chill hotel. The nightly entertainment matches that vibe (live band, guitarist, Mr Wonderful who was such an amazing pianist.) lots of young couples at the resort and we enjoyed getting to know some of them, but it’s definitely not a crazy party vibe (the bar closes at 10:45pm.) The food is above average for an all inclusive resort (wouldn’t go so far to say the food was excellent like some of the reviews suggest, but you gotta keep the right expectations.) The staff are warm, gracious, and fun to chat with. Beaches: 11/10. We loved both. Some cons: the walk which many people have mentioned. Our room was at the very end and the walk only took us 7 minutes and wasn’t bad for us at all. We had a guy next door with a recent knee surgery and he was having a hard time. Just something to be aware of. There is room service for an additional charge (I think it’s like $20) so not included in the price of your room. My biggest gripe is that the last order for food closes 30-45 minutes before the restaurants close. So for the grill that closes at 6pm, our last order could be placed at 5:15pm. The restaurant closes at 9:30pm but last order is 9pm. I think changing the times of the restaurant’s closing to when the last orders can be placed makes more sense, especially since in the US if we see a restaurant is open until a certain time, the expectation is that even if you arrived a minute before closing, you would still be able to get service. *in case you go and would like to tip your servers, bartenders, etc (not necessary bc it’s included but we wanted to), make sure to bring small bills. We came ill prepared but luckily the staff were able to find us smaller bills. Overall, we would definitely consider coming back (this is coming from someone who has extremely high standards and generally dislikes the whole all inclusive thing.) we loved it!
