  This was our second visit to Cocos and we are all ready planning our third. Having been to numerous all inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico, Cocos stands apart for the beauty of the actual location, the friendliness of the staff and the overall quality of the resort. If you are looking for marble floors, themed restaurants and swim up bars look elsewhere. This is a rustic, romantic, relaxing Caribbean escape. No wild foam parties, loud music, and contests just the sound of the ocean by day and tree frogs at night. One ala carte restaurant for all meals means you receive individualized service from friendly and knowledgeable staff members providing excellent selection and preparation of quality, local food. Yes, it is rustic and there are steep inclines and stairs to navigate which may be a deal breaker for some, however, for us those are are all a part of the charm of the place. Provided you have no physical limitations and can do the necessary walking we cannot recommend Cocos enough. If you are even contemplating a visit to Cocos just book it! You will not be disappointed.

  Honeymoon in Paradise

  Last day in Paradise!! Let me tell you a few things about this amazing boutique hotel. The hotel stands in between two stunning beaches, white sand clear blue seas. The decor is rustic Caribbean, no marble just beautiful dark wood. There are a few room types all individual cottages ranging from standard to ones with private plunge pools. We were lucky to get upgraded to a sunset view cottage. There is just the one main restaurant which is alacarte serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The choice and quality is outstanding. Both beaches have a bar and one has a grill snack bar serving from 12 till 6pm. There is entertainment in the evening but quite low key. It’s a paradise to come away and spend time together and recharge your batteries. Ladies don’t bring high heals if like us you are in a high cottage with tremendous views it’s hilly. We have had an amazing honeymoon, can’t wait to come back. Forgot to mention the staff, out of this world all really attentive.

  A Majestic, Soul‑Stirring Stay at COCOS Hotel Antigua

  My stay at COCOS Hotel Antigua was nothing short of magical. This is one of those rare places where the beauty of the island, the serenity of the surroundings, and the warmth of the staff come together to create an experience that feels almost dreamlike. From the moment I arrived, the staff set the tone — gracious, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making every moment special. Their kindness and attentiveness elevated the entire stay. You don’t just feel like a guest here; you feel cared for. The property itself is breathtaking. Perched above the coastline with sweeping views of turquoise water and lush greenery, COCOS delivers that perfect blend of rustic charm and luxury. The private infinity pools are an incredible touch — peaceful, intimate, and ideal for soaking in the Caribbean sun. I do have two very minor notes, neither of which overshadow the overall excellence: The private infinity pools tended to collect insects fairly quickly. It’s understandable given the natural environment, but perhaps a cover or some type of light filtration solution could help keep them pristine throughout the day. The nighttime soundscape — frogs, crickets, birds — is loud and constant due to the open‑air design and lack of soundproofing. It’s part of the rainforest ambiance, but it did make falling asleep a bit challenging. Guests who are light sleepers may want to bring earplugs. Even with those small considerations, the stay was truly extraordinary. The views, the ambiance, the food, the staff, the tranquility — everything came together to create a getaway that felt both luxurious and deeply grounding. COCOS Hotel is a place where you slow down, breathe differently, and remember what beauty feels like. I would return in a heartbeat. A majestic experience from start to finish.

  Excellent location, relaxing vibe, superb food and wonderful staff

  This was our 10th visit to Cocos and I suppose that says it all. The location between two beautiful beaches is wonderful. We tended to stay on the Jolly Beach side most of the day, going over to the Sunset Beach for a last swim & cocktail. The beaches are well maintained and the sunbeds are comfortable with colourful wooden parasols. The cottages are spread out on the promentary and I would carefully look at the siting of them on their website, as the hills up to them are very steep, with lots of steps if you go to the Sunset Beach and the lower pool cottages on that side. Food is varied & excellent & the staff are wonderful. I cannot praise them enough. The evening enterainment is varied, however, I feel 'quieter ' nights such as a saxophinist &/or a pianist, playing in the background, would give guests time to chat after dinner .

  Perfection

  Wonderful hotel in a beautiful location. Comfortable rooms with minibar stocked daily, stunning scenery, delicious food and friendly, very helpful staff. If you’re looking for polished marble, gyms and discos, this isn’t the hotel for you. If you want total relaxation in an idyllic location, it is perfect.
