Dec 14, 2025A sunny hill between two beaches!
We, me and my wife had a wunderful holiday in this little paradise. The staff of this hotel was always at our help, when needed. I got my pineaple-papaya fruit each morning even without order beside all other available tasty things. Other food as well delicious and in a big variety. The only point to claim are 2.5 Kilo more on my scale. But for this I have to blasme myself. Thank you so much and regards to the hole staff, sincerely yours Rudolf

A wonderful hotel
Cocos hotel is wonderful. The location is idyllic, the food is superb and the staff are fantastic. Our accommodation was excellent and a real highlight is the outdoor shower.

Simply the best
We have just returned from 10 nights and had a brilliant time. Yes, there were a few teething problems but they were sorted. The true measure of any company/hotel is how things that have gone wrong are put right and in this respect Cocos shone. A little TLC wouldn’t go amiss but it is sold as a rustic retreat. The staff are exceptional, right from Courtney (Ops manager), Kris (one of the duty managers), Maria (one of the receptionists), SuperMario (one of the bartenders) and far too many others to mention. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was superb with so much choice and the cocktails just kept coming. We stayed in Cottage number 6 (premium sunset view) and it lived up to its name. The outdoor shower is truly amazing. Now, a word of warning. You definitely shouldn’t even consider Cocos if you have any mobility issues. The paths are steep and some cottages are a bit of a trek away. Number 6 was up a steep hill but literally a three minute walk away from the restaurant and one of the beaches. They do take your cases to the cottages but you need to make your own way during your stay. Talking of beaches you have the choice of Jolly Beach (our favourite) and Valley Church Beach in the other side of the complex. We had a couples massage in the spa and it was so good! The swimming pool was unfortunately closed whilst we were there but was open as we left. We prefer beach anyway but it looks a nice place to have a lazy few hours. Would we go back to Cocos? Most certainly, it’s not the cheapest but if you’re looking for a peaceful small hotel experience with no children this is the place. Tips: They have bagels for breakfast but they’re just not shown on the menu. If you like brown sauce on breakfast items ( 🇬🇧 ) take some sachets, ketchup and hot sauce is available.

Lovely stay in couples-only resort
Our first time staying in an all-inclusive resort (couples only, geared toward low-key stay and relaxation), for a 1 week stay. Exceptional (!) location with two fantastic beaches by the resort, truly remarkable views and beach experience, one of the best we have ever had while traveling. Accomodations (bungalow/villa) were as advertised, rustic feel but very functional (great AC!), comfortable bed/pillow, nice-sized bathroom area with the one highlight being the outdoor shower concept at each bungalow which is something different and quite enjoyable, and also appreciated the terrasse area with hammock. The food had more than enough variety throughout the week (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and was of remarkably good quality, with the fresh seafood being typically outstanding. Drinks/cocktails also plentiful and good quality, with plenty of bars with immediate service (including on the beach). Service level gets a 10 out of 10, we liked the low-key approach and respect of privacy and support of relaxation, any small requests were handled very efficiently. We used the in-house spa services for a lovely couples massage at a reasonable price. All in all, the price/quality was outstanding, we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the resort (note that the resort's website is really well done and provides a true characterization of the resort facilities and vibe, so we recommend you read it before booking including their well explained FAQ's, everything was exactly as advertised i.e. no surprises, which these days is saying something...).

Great experience
We went for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was a great experience. The beach dinner was very well orchestrated and romantic. The beaches were amazing. The hotel was clean and well kept. The sunset plunge pool cottage is the way to go with wonderful views. Staff was friendly and accommodating.
