Return to Coconut Bay
Our first visit to Coconut Bay in 2018 was so outstanding that when planning a vacation for this year, we unanimously decided to return. Our children were 11 and 14 our first trip making them 17 and 20 for this one. Coconut Bay proved again that what isn't broken, doesn't need fixing. Everything was outstanding. The staff of this resort are some of the finest we have encountered anywhere in the world. Nica runs the swim up pool bar like a boss. She is an absolute professional. New hire Jemal was the highlight of our trip. With a smile brighter than the St.Lucian, he make each drink and each conversation easy and fun. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed getting to know him. Watching him serve kids drinks to a 5 year old with the same professionalism and gently laugh as he serves adults theirs was a joy. Jemal is a gem. Our entire family just adored him. If he ever wants to move to Buffalo, he knows where to find us! The beach bar was new to us this visit. It was the perfect addition to the resort. Tyron at the beach bar was a pleasure. Funny, welcoming and able to make delicious drinks. The gentleman at the grill served delicious burgers. He was so kind and attentive. Because our kids were older we were able to spend some time at Peter John's Lounge and bar. Edd (and his female partner) were outstanding. I asked for a drink Edd was not completely familiar with. He made me a sample and it was absolutely perfect. Our flight was cancelled due to weather on the way home. The ladies at the front desk were able to accommodate us and housekeeping had our room refreshed and ready within minutes. Dona was ever present at the Splash pool asking how she could help, what she could get us and always up for a chat. Kimberly in reservations accommodated all of our requests with regard to room placement and beds. She is excellent at her job. We saw the manager several times but never wanted to interrupt. He observed each restaurant at night, he could be seen working on his laptop outside during the day. If we had any issues, he would have been easily available. Both the Splash and Harmony sides are well kept We did the half day catamaran snorkeling adventure again this trip. Again, it was excellent. We chose not to do the sulfur springs, mud path, volcano, diamond falls again but would highly recommend first timers take advantage of those experiences. As stated, we have been to other resorts. Other countries. Theme parks around the world. Nothing compares to the causal excellence and sense of "home" that Coconut Bay is able to deliver. I don't know if we will even bother trying any other resorts. Coconut Bay makes you feel like family which in turn, make you want to treat the staff like you treat your family. That is rare. Thank you for another unforgettable vacation. Keep up the outstanding work!

Great staff! Aging rooms.
The rooms in the Splash section need to be refurbished. Paint was peeling, the showers were small, and door handles were loose. The food was solid, and the drinks were very good. Kevin, Sage, Claude and Edward were all go-to bartenders. And in general the staff were 5+ stars. All of the Kids Camp counselors (Zina, Shanielle, Sarah, Lana, Trish, and one whose name I wish I could remember!) were so attentive and fun that my toddlers didn’t want to leave at the end of the day! Plus, Theona and Bertha in the buffet restaurant, and Keisun in activities, treated my kids like they were their own.

Outstanding resort with so many pools and bars it feels like heaven on earth.
Gorgeous, well-run resort in an ideal location in Saint Lucia. Amazing food with several restaurants to choose from. Lots of bars with fun tropical drinks and so many staff that you never wait in line for a drink. There are five pools and you can choose kids or no kids depending on which side of the resort you are on adn your mood. Rooms are clean and big with balconies and comfy linens. Bathrooms are modern. Staff are kind, very efficient and as two women traveling alone, we felt very safe at this resort. Fun and festive evening entertainment that ended promptly at 11 each night. Cute theme nights added fun to the week. You can (and definitely should) rent a beach cabana (highly recommend) on a pristine beach and it comes with a cooler of drinks, shade, a shower, bluetooth speaker and lunch delivery from your butler who is happy to fetch cocktails. We did the half-day and full day cabana - do yourself a favour and do the full day. Beach is amazing by the cabanas and it is quiet - you barely see your cabana neighbour. While the main beach is a 5 walk away form the main resort, there are plenty of pools and chairs to choose from. It was our first time at Coconut Bay, a quick 5 minute ride from the airport, and we will be back as when yhou arrive it feels like you walked into a tropical haven. Cannot say enough good things about this resort. Note while the buffet food was surprisingly good for a buffet, it was a noisy place to eat as many families dine at the buffet, but lots of quieter restaurant choices as well. We already booked our vacation for next year as this place was fabuous.

Great vacation
We just came back from Coconut Bay Beach. We had the most wonderful time. Huge thanks to all the workers and staff who went out of their way to make our stay so much more special. The level of professionalism, cleanliness, promptness, and overall friendliness was above and beyond our expectations. Separate shout out to Chef Michael - this was our first trip where the chef set aside time to meet with us and took us around to show us what food was appropriate for our son who is on a gluten-free diet. Not only did they have a variety of gluten-free choices including a buffet but twice Chef Michael made something separate for us to accommodate our son. All the restaurants had gluten-free dishes marked and chefs came out to discuss special dietary accommodations. Tyrone at the beach bar we thank you for your great attitude, laughs, and negronis. Overall, our favorite Caribbean resort vacation on a beautiful island, can't wait to go back.

Excellent value for money and beautiful relaxing setting
A better priced Hotel, essentially because it is on the Atlantic side rather than Caribbean side. However that is the only disadvantage (and not really a disadvantage in my view). The up side is it is literally 6 mins from the airport to check in at the hotel, rather than the one and half hours to the capital in the North (unless you can afford the helicopter transfers !!!). The hotel itself is fantastic with good energy, mostly great staff and choice but with adult only areas for those, like us, who like the facilities of a large setting but like quieter areas to chill in. The food at the restaurants is top notch and the buffet option is also excellent. I would say the option of the paid for restaurant at Serinty is over priced and no better than the already included options. The walk along the private beach is perfect and just perfect for that morning walk before breakfast (about a 1 mile each way). A lazy river to chill in and plenty of trip options for those who want to explore more of this beautiful island. Totally worth the money.
