    A wonderful time in paradise!

We had a wonderful time at Coconut Bay. We went for a week. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing at all the restaurants. You have to make reservations for some of them. One night we were unable to get a reservation. We showed up at Calabash just before it opened. The hostess asked if we wouldn’t mind sitting outside on the veranda. It was perfect. We got our own server, Jesse. The service was excellent. We spent most of our days on Paradise Beach. Well worth the walk. Tyron the bartender is the best. The resort was full but we never felt crowded and never waited for anything. Everything was clean and our room was modern and spacious. We will definitely return. Ray & Maureen from Buffalo

    Tropical paradise

This place is over the top amazing. From the first moment you step into the lobby where you’re handed a cool towel and offered a beautiful green beverage. Greeted by a friendly staff and a stunning arrangement of tropical flowers at the desk. Everyone here is super friendly. I never felt like anyone was looking for tips. Extremely attentive staff. The resort was always clear of beverage glasses, empty plates etc. lying around The spa was amazing . The excursion to the Sulphur springs was so relaxing. We were in a small group of 3 couples. The guide was Davis, who stopped along the way to pick mangoes and show us things native to St.lucia Would definitely recommend Coconut Bay to couples and families since they have outstanding spots designated for each separately. There was always entertainment and things to do., a rum tasting, chocolate night, Caribbean night, volleyball, yoga. You can be busy every minute or just chill. Totally up to you

Want a smaller, quaint resort? Pick Coconut Bay!

Want a smaller, more quaint, quieter place to visit? Pick Coconut Bay! We had no idea what to expect so the degree which we felt welcomed and taken care of, was a huge and pleasant surprise. This resort is small (I think it only has 250 rooms) so everything is personal and up front. You can easily walk it in about 5 minutes. If you want hustle and bustle, you will not find it here. It's clean! Really clean! The grounds are immaculate but you will never see any staff doing it. They are quiet and invisible. Beds are a little hard and the pillows are awful but that's most resorts really. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues and they had them fixed and handled before we managed to get back from reporting them! The beach has seaweed...ok, we knew that. But it also has a tractor and that tractor runs all day long! Plus the private beach is worth the 5 minute walk! If seaweed means I go exploring and find the private beach with the private beach bar and music and hammocks in the water AND free watersports..so be it! Awesome! Excursion was fantastic! Booked the Soufriere Land & Sea and it was PERFECT! I won't ruin the experience for you by telling but don't miss it! (PSA choose the mud baths when you get the choice) and if your tour guide is Danny Boy, buckle up for a day of giggles and fun! Highly recommend! Buffet was great - wide variety of foods (just be sure to LOOK AROUND - food stations are everywhere in that place!) The Jerk Shack was decent and worked in a pinch. FlipFlops Grill was excellent! Especially when you just wanted food you recognized or some nachos! We did A La Carte at Silk (Asian) and Calbash (Caribbean). Also excellent although Calabash was by far better! Just be prepared for the NOISE. There isn't a lot of "sound absorbers" so it's really really loud. If background noise bothers you, maybe these 2 aren't for you. But all in all they were both really good! Now let's talk about the staff... AMAZING! Nicest people we have encountered on any of our vacations. Nobody was ever too busy to help or unfriendly. Where do I even begin.. Peggy (our RA) made sure the room was clean and she made the cutest towel animals and left personal notes - Ruth (at the front desk) answered all my questions and even laughed at my jokes! - Claude & Nick at the Lobby bar were just the best at taking care of us - Lester (at the buffet) was the sweetest server and he remembered what we liked in our coffee daily! - Solange (at Silk) was hilarious and gave my husband his jokes right back which always makes for a fun dinner! - Philma (at Calabash) was absolute perfection, and that SMILE! - Last but for sure not least was Tyrone (at the beach bar) he made every day fun and his music was the best! Nothing was too much to ask for and he made us feel like we were the only customers he had no matter how crowded it was! Loved them all!

    Excellent location, staff and vacation!

We travelled over the March Break 2025 (March 9-16) with two adults, two seniors (70+) and a 16 year old. From the moment we arrived at the airport resort shuttle to our departure, we were treated like valued guests at the resort. All staff were friendly and often asked and seemed genuinely interested about whether we were enjoying our stay. The staff aim to please and we never felt like a bother or inconvenience to anyone if we had questions or requests. I would say that the quality of the staff at this resort and their dedication to their guests and the property made this an amazing resort to visit! You can’t beat the proximity to the airport either! Room: Splash Concierge Oceanview Junior Suite (2 double beds and a pull out sofa). Although the rooms, bathroom mainly, was small and slightly dated, they were clean, cool and well equipped with the necessities. The shower was small but it worked well. The pull out bed needs more support/padding in the middle. We used the couch cushions and pillows to prop up the middle section of the pull out. Other people were provided with an additional mattress to put on top of the existing mattress. We had water dripping from the overhead bathroom light on the first day which was dealt with very promptly. The coffee maker and ice maker in our room was very convenient. We had a great view of the ocean and resort from our room. Concierge services - Although we did not need to use the cellphone provided to access concierge services throughout our stay, it was a nice touch. To eliminate the need for the cellphone, a WhatsApp number could be used. Our check in was quick and informative. We were able to select a bottle of liquor or wine for our room. Our fridge had beer (Piton), Sprite, Coke, water and Club Soda. We had an afternoon snack delivered to our room each day which was a nice treat to arrive back to! We loved the removable room key wristbands! Our A La Carte dinner reservations were made for us ahead of time and we were able to squeeze in an extra reservation at Calabash during our stay. Restaurants, Flip Flop snack bar, Jerk Tree house and buffet - There were plenty of dining options, with great food! I would eat at any of these a la carte restaurants again! Especially loved Calabash and Silk. Although it’s hard to beat the same day fresh catch of mahi-mahi grilled up at Trattoria!! We did not have any complaints about any of the meals we ate! We did not get a chance to try out Verandah, as we had a teen with us. Bars - no shortage of drink options, both alcoholic and mocktails!! Each bar seemed to have different drink menus, which was a unique feature! The peach ginger-tini at the lobby bar was my favourite! Stinky Winky and Coco were the mocktails of choice for our teen and grandma! Pools, lazy river, water slides and so much more! There’s something for everyone to enjoy!! The water in the lazy river and water slides was much warmer than the Splash pool! We enjoyed the pickleball courts, ping pong table, beach volleyball and corn hole boards throughout the day. Lots of activities and things to do scattered throughout the spacious resort. The beach is expansive and well maintained by the resort! Paradise beach was beautiful, with slightly calmer water than the area right in front of the Splash pools. The resort works all day long to stay on top of the Sargassum (seaweed). Special events - Western night, Caribbean night, foam party, market days - the resort team went above and beyond to ensure there were special activities throughout the our stay! Theme night dinner buffets were poolside, which was nice to be able to eat outside. The quality of food was great on these nights, with plenty of options. The entertainment at these theme nights was great as well! The stilt walkers and fire dancer at Caribbean night were fantastic!! My dad loved the Michael Jackson performance! Extra special shout outs to: 1. Coconut Walk breakfast/lunch crew: Shermanda, Brittney (trainee), Brad, Lester, Carrie - they went about and beyond to check in on us each day 2. Concierge team -Shirmanda knew me by name the few times I went to the desk to ask a question! She’s efficient, friendly and has a great sense of humour. Thank you for making up for Air Canada’s reservation errors and connecting our dinner reservations with the other members who were travelling in our party! 3. Silk Restaurant- from the moment we arrived, Ima was checking in on us. Our server Solange had a great sense of humour!! She was super friendly and made fantastic meal choice recommendations. 4. Entertainment staff- Mel took me on a great resort power walk! She was kind and very informative! She showed me all kinds of neat features of the resort! 5. House keeping attendants -Nadesha (night time attendant) and Pearl (day time house keeper) on the Splash side in the 400 block (406). These two wonderful ladies kept our rooms so tidy and always left the sweetest notes and lovely towel decorations. 6. Pool server -Lawson (trainee) was so attentive, kind and friendly!! He remembered our drinks, made great recommendations and always checked in when he was in the area. This young man deserves a permanent spot on the Coconut Bay staff!! 7. Cabana attendant-Jabari was accommodating, patient and he made our Cabana rental so fantastic!! He went above and beyond to say hello and to check in with us any time he saw us around the pool after our Cabana stay. 8. Reservation managers - Before our vacation even began, Shawna and Sylvania were super helpful and informative with helping us navigate Air Canada Vacation’s colossal booking mess up! They both ensured our vacation booking at the resort actually took place.

    Family Vacation

My family of 12 had a wonderful time at Coconut Bay! The food was amazing, the staff so very helpful and friendly and the grounds well maintained. The water park with the slides and Lazy River were a big hit for all ages. We would definitely return!
