Was the worst experience ever. Was switched to 4 rooms in 1 day. First room had a leak from the old refrigerator, second room had roaches, third room had roaches, fourth room had no AC and a leak in ceiling causing the bed to be soaked. Staff were unfriendly, didn't care, would brush you off, and nonchalant about the issues. Told us you're on a tropical island so you're going to have roaches. Only two places to eat and would close for preparation for the next meal time causing you to eat breakfast and lunch together. Staff also engaging in promotion of prostitution. You have to pay $15 a day for wifi, $3 a day for the key to the safe in your room, no room service, and they do not restock your refrigerator. Only gave one star because I had to in order to be able the review.

Deplorable conditions—we had to leave with our child.
My stay at Cofresí Palm in Puerto Plata- RD was horrible. The room was dirty and dilapidated, and the toilet did not work. The air conditioning also stopped working, leaving us with only a dirty ceiling fan that we had no choice but to turn on. Sewage, including feces and urine, backed up into the room. I had to get my young child out immediately. There were no other rooms available, so we had to leave the hotel entirely. No family should have to experience these disgusting conditions during a vacation. I have photos documenting the conditions and can provide them upon request. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel or return. Cleanliness, working plumbing, functioning air conditioning, and a sanitary room are basic expectations, and this hotel failed to provide them.

Conftesi palm
Dirty place rude reception staff,if you complain you are treated really bad. My suggestion is dont stay the Management dont care just give the same responce and basic excuse. All this place cares about is the money nothing else.Not even worth one point

A WEEK LONG NIGHTMARE!
I have traveled many places and stayed in many hotels but this is by far the WORST experience I have ever had. Upon arrival we were taken to a room that looked like the 1970's. Orange Shades over the lights, a shower that trickled cold water, a bed that was as hard as a rock, ants and geckos crawling in the bathroom all topped off with a room that never cooled below 83 degrees the whole time we were there. There was a thin door connecting to another room that may as well have not been there as you could hear the people in the room adjacent. The food was terrible. But the constant harassment over using the spa, buying cigars, or shopping onsite became so annoying we were ready to leave early. Many other reviewers have mentioned "the tour"!!!! WOW! The first morning we came out of our room we were greeted with"let me show you around the facility". Little did we know we would spend the rest of our morning in a high pressure sale of the Lifestyle Holidays Club. The VIP area at the beach was amazing but that is about the only thing that I have positive to say about this terrible place. DO NOT GO! Puerto Plata is an amazing city with amazing cites and I am sure there are amazing places to stay just don't go here!!!!
