We've been traveling to St. Martin for over 20 years. Stayed in the Oyster Pond area. After the hurricane of 2017, we discovered the Colombus Hotel. We've back ever year since. Lovely accomodations. Rooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. Great restaurants near by and easy drive to the beach. Highly recommend.

Great place!
This is a great place to stay. The room was clean and large. The pool is beautiful. It’s quiet. There are a handful of really great restaurants nearby for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The owner is an incredibly upbeat, gracious host. We had to postpone our trip 2 days (due to flight problems) and she honored our reservation and didn’t charge us even though we had non-refundable rooms. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here.

Brilliant
A fantastic small boutique hotel. We had a big apartment with our own big patio and front lawn. You feel as though you are in the community on the French side of Oyster Pond. Great restaurant and food store, 10 mins away. You need to a hire car. Delphine is a fantastic host along side happy accommodating Cecilia. Go to Marigot and the best beach Anse Marcel with a tasty French restaurant and views of the island Anguilla. The French side is best.

Super vacation for an active family with children
It was our first time in St. Martin and we really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Colombus. We had to rebook our stay and Delphine, the hotel manager was very helpful and patient in facilitating our communication with Expedia. Upon arrival we were welcomed very warmly by Delphine and her assistant Cecilia, who provided us with very helpful recommendations on what to see and visit during our short stay (beaches, restaurants, attractions etc). We stayed in a large two bedroom apartment with a kitchen, two bathrooms and a terrace. The apartment is fabulous, we enjoyed it very much and children appreciated the opportunity to use the pool - also late in the evening. There is a French food shop nearby and we were able to cook breakfast and dinner ourselves, otherwise there is a restaurant just around the corner. Hotel parking is just in front of the hotel that we found quite convenient. We found the location very good – not far (around 10-15 min. drive) from the luxury Orient Bay beach on the Atlantic side and Grand Case beaches on the Caribbean side. The ferry to the marvellous Pinel Island, as well Simpson Bay restaurants and casinos are also short drive away.

Three US couples returning to St. Martin following a two-year break allowing SXM time to recover from hurricanes
Typically stayed at Captain Oliver- now devastated, we had checked-out Colombus, assured it was rebuilt following hurricanes, and were not disappointed. Each couple was assigned a beautiful updated apartment complete with amenities. Nearby Bread & Butter French provision shop facilitated daily baguettes and various other treats. On-site representatives Delphine & Cecelia responded to our every need and wish. We re-booked for next Jan, 2021...same room, but will stay a bit longer than a week.
