Property Location Located in East End, Compass Point Dive Resort is by the ocean, within a 5-minute drive of East End Lighthouse and Colliers Public Beach. This beach resort is 22.3 mi (36 km) from Port of Georgetown and 23.2 mi (37.3 km) from Camana Bay.
Rooms Make yourself at home in one of the 28 air-conditioned rooms featuring kitchens with refrigerators and ovens. Rooms have private patios. Wired and wireless Internet access is complimentary, and flat-screen televisions with cable programming provide entertainment. Private bathrooms with shower/tub combinations feature jetted bathtubs and hair dryers.

Aug 23, 2026Best Dive Resort in 24 Years!
We have stayed at many different resorts attached to dive operations, but Compass Point really exceeded our expectations. The spaciousness of our 1 bedroom, 2 bath condo was so great. We had room to spread out. We were two adults and one 12 year old grandson and we never got in each others' way. The kitchen was fully stocked; The bathrooms were impeccably clean and modern. We were there in the hot summer, but the air conditioning and fans made our space cool and comfortable. We felt that for what we were charged, we got a great value for our week. Also, we didn't feel crowded at this resort. There are a limited number of rooms and the atmosphere was very mellow. Beach towels were provided which was nice as we were right near the pool. By the end of the first day, we had already decided to go there again if we come to Grand Cayman again.

Quiet, beautiful, and chill
Compass Point is the most laid back and comfortable resorts that i have ever visited. The rooms are exactly as advertised and match the pictures on their site. They are squeaky clean, housekeeping comes everyday and makes your bed, changes your trash, and checks on towels. If I have ever dealt with a friendlier or more helpful staff, I really couldn't tell you when. If you are a diver or just want a quiet place to stay, away from the crowds and noise of the 7 mile beach area, this is the one. They have a great restaurant on site and more just a few minutes away.

Return trip to Compass Point!
We have stayed at Compass Point Condominiums a few times in the past. Just returned from a 10-day trip and again had an exceptional time. We are divers but had two adult non-divers with us who were totally blown away by the resort. They loved Ocean Frontiers and took advantage of their snorkeling and Sting Ray City trips. Our non-divers felt this was a great resort for most any one. The onsite Eagle Rays Bar and Grill continues to be one of the best venues on Grand Cayman Island. Great food and reasonable prices. We also dined with Chef Remy at Bombay Chopsticks (right across the street from CP) 3 times during our stay. The Indian cuisine was absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. Chef Remy came out from the kitchen each night and talked to us about the meal. What a treat! We stayed in the two bedroom, two bathroom ocean front condos. These are the best units in the complex offering plenty of room, washer/dryer and great views of the Caribbean. The sunrises from our master bedroom balcony were awe inspiring. The condo was impeccably clean when we arrived and everything we could ever want for cooking was in the unit. Compass Point is in the process of improving the beach in front of the two bedroom units. A retaining wall was being completed with a large sand backfill planned. This should be done by January and looks like it will be a great improvement to the beach. The swimming pool and hot tub across the street were great. The hot tub was a consistent 104 degrees and felt great as the day waned. We dined at our favorite restaurant in George Town - The Brasserie. We were able to attend their December Harvest Dinner with Chef Dean Max. The Brasserie is a real locals place for those who enjoy fine dining. This farm to table establishment serves some of the most amazing dishes in the world. Diving with Ocean Frontiers is always a joy. OF and their staff does a great job of eliminating all stress and making your diving experience special. We had great conditions, warm temperatures and great visibility (150 feet or so). Reefs are in great condition with lots of fish. We will return soon to Compass Point. It is indeed a hidden gem on the East End of Grand Cayman!

Great place, our second stay here
Very nice accommodations. Spacious and well equipped kitchen. There is a pool and a fantastic hot tub. There is a small beach with hammocks and a few chairs. It’s a fairy small resort so very quiet. We did have problems with WiFi on the first day and they came and gave us a new router on the 2nd day which worked well.

One of the all-time best dive centers
We have stayed with this outfit many times and it's hard to dive with other operators because no other dive operators can match the level of care, fun and safety. I think they have won the best staff in the Caribbean for the last three years. My only question is while not the last 20 years. I can't say enough great things about staying and diving with Compass Point and ocean frontiers!
